Found a previously enjoyed ISN ECB80 and something I have never heard of before with the MUB1
Listening to both right now my ears are happy.

ordered the KPH30 wireless but received some revision of the wired KPH30 instead…
It’s the universe telling you to stay wired
Wireless is the way to go if its for outside use though.
(Although I doubt you want the KP30i for that as it has like zero isolation.)
audio jesus has spoken
doesn’t really matter where I go out usually the loudest thing is the wind unless the parks are super busy lol
Hopefully those Ugreen headphones are halfway decent. I really like Ugreen cables.
I purchased the rainbow version of the Defiant. The colors of the faceplates and the cable have grown on me to the point where I actually like the colors.
You are Squigley Down Under.
i’m assuming that graph is pre seal (removable O ring)
Any pics on that?
You dont mean this right?
(which seems to be size adjustment and not for sound.)
I will ask him about it.
Ok just checked with Mark. Seems he didnt get that ring, I assume it must have been an earlier version.
I have the new version with the acoustic ring under the pad and it sounds stellar, I would say i5 is less sharp/intense than Arya Stealth and I preffer the i5. As for technical chomps perhaps a tiny bit behind it, though this might be more due to the sharpness of Stealth than the i5 driver. While soundstage is actually little more wide, so it keeps itself up well in a fight against Arya stealth.
I was also a little turned off by the initial graph, but heard it in Munich High End and then asked them for review sample once I had heard it a few times. One of the better sets out there for value.
Having a morning session with it now, playing some technical electronica.
Also the i5 with and without the acoustic ring, the spikes in the midrange is odd but I am not picking it up when playing music. Will test it more deeply soon.
Some more photos if any want to see more, kind of like the look though it would be better without the wood for my taste.
Havent tried the other pads yet but initial thoughts.
Shuffling music out of the box at first I was thinking I didn’t like it but certain songs are so good, letting them burn in on the listening setup before I give them another go.
I’ll say I think the Velcro mount is hurting the soundstage and the bass (holding the pads slightly off my head seemed way better) but the intimate staging might be good for some things
Super comfy although not sure if the perforated pads are breathable enough for hot weather use.
I might have a good head for the oval style pads, as I get very solid bass response and wide stage. Lifting them to not sit flat only make it sound a little muddy and loose on the bass.
I still could have liked more bass but the quality is great, running it off AUNE S17 PRO Evo if that is relevant
