Shanling UA7 this thing is dope ![]()
Bought a Schiit Mjolnir 3. Next have to make a proper shelf for all these amps. Jotunhiem 1, Lyr 1, Lyr +, Burson conductor sl, Darkvoice 336se, fulla 2, Mjolnir 1, and now Mjolnir 3. I still Prefer Mjolnir 1 with how transparent and wide it is in comparison for some stuff, it’s crazy how open it is, almost like its not there other then the slight bit of brightness. Mjolnir 3 is pretty warm, and dark sounding, with a lot of bass very detailed after getting it setup right, I find it sounds similar to how I have my Lyr + setup with GE tube, but more detailed and a lot more separation. I had to do some experimentation changing out my power conditioner, it sounded off until I upgraded, both Mjolnirs sound vastly improved, they seem to be pretty transparent and sensitive amps. Plenty of power for 2 watts class A, but takes forever to warm up to sound its best, at least 30-40 min or so.
I really did not buy anything in fact I just got these 2 sets from a trade after trying the IM4. It’s a good set but it lacks the isolation that I want which is a shame. Also these 2 will do good enough, it makes sense for I cannot use my Mest Mk. II all the time so more to the collection added.
Didn’t realize how small this little guy was. Pleasantly surprised how good it sounds. So far the battery has been solid and it’s got plenty of power (more than I need). UI is pretty straightforward, but nothing to write home about. 2-way Bluetooth, eq. Biggest drawback is due to the size it can be tough with adult-sized fingers. Fits my need for a small dap really well.
I’ve got one a well. Perfect size to take on the road.
It’s also a great pocket toaster considering how hot it can get.
This thing looks pretty stellar. I was just looking into the specs and it’s probably exactly what I’m looking for in a player.
Interesting.
I know I’d rather not have Android on my music player if I can help it. This is perfect. It’s too bad it’s damn expensive. Damn near $500 is a little bit of a tough pill to swallow.
Oh, ouch! Yeah, that just rained on my parade a little bit! I was actually intrigued by this one. Lookin for something small I can use while working the property. Oh well, if I want it, I reckon I’ll have to save up a little longer. But I just started lookin, so maybe something else will pop up that’s not such a big hit to the wallet. This being on a budget now stuff stinks… ![]()
Yeah, it’s probably a bit overpriced. There’s a decent sale on Aliexpress right now and they have their anniversary sale at the end of March. To the US I think it could be had for $350ish.
i always say that down the road, I’m sure these will pop up on the classifieds at half the price. Then, and only then, will I pull the trigger ![]()
Although, @LakeWyles $350ish is definitely not bad at all!
Shanling M1 Plus or Hidizs AP80 Pro Max are worth looking into imho
Many thanks, Sir. I will look into those for sure. ![]()
A ghetto setup may be to get a small handheld like this.
Add a tiny dongle to it like the jcally ja3t and you can then install Rockbox on it via portmaster. ![]()
Just got a new set on the left, Target Japan Black Marque Dancing Duck G4 24g’s now pimped with a set of L-Style spinning carbon 260 shafts and dimple “Deep Purple” ![]()

flights…probably won’t help my game (but they do help grip wise
)
…
Been awhile boys, last couple of weeks have brought the K13 to replace my K11 and I’ve added the JT-7 and Darkside power supply. The EQ app for the K13 is the big game changer here, haven’t been this happy in quite awhile. Also another S08 today in the silver colorway. Happy Wednesday ![]()
looks dope in that pink light! ![]()
Weclome back! ![]()
Welcome back, man. Nice buy! Enjoy…
It’s been interestig trying to acclimate to the new environment. It’s been getting to 100% humidity at night and 85% minimum durig the day. So we picked up a dehumidifier for the house. It’s from Aeocky and this particular model reviews well.
Also got a small one for the bedroom so Kathy can breathe easier. I have never had one of these before, so we will see what they do.
They’re game changers for high humidity and smell environments like an old basement.
Welcome to Texas! Watch the fire ants too!
