Dropped some stuff off at the thrift store and decided to raid the CDās. Queens of the Stone Age and Jill Scott are still sealed. Had to keep the taped on head over Leoās face. It going to bother me until I figure out the actor, I know I saw him in something very recently.
Edit: Freaking Benjamin Sisko (Avery Brooks)! My mind working quick tonight. Finished DS9 again a few months back.

@DDT can confirm these round out much more off of the Qutest + Bigger Ben. I thought they sounded really nice just off of the Hugo 2, but I am pleasantly surprised at how much more bass and impact they are capable of. Really nice headphones

Yinyoo makes cables like this too. 16 euros or so and fucking beautiful and theyāre so soft and supple!

Soā¦Gungnir Multi-bitā¦pretty stellarā¦Mjolnir 2 solid hybrid with soft tubishness and today finally rounded out with an OTL need to let it warm up and grab some cablesā¦Iām thinking either keep the Schiit and add OTL or slide back to Bifrost 2+ Jot2 + Lyr 3 for space on deskā¦any thoughts on these two option is appreciated.

My second set of Shipibo parts showed up today. Being my third time removing the gimbals from the cups and rod blocks from the headband, I managed to keep it all in tact, but damn the left rod block put up a fight. I really canāt understand how people say the rod blocks break on Grados. Even when trying it can be difficult.
I also put the turbulent labs headband I had lying around on since the stock one seems less soft and more dry feeling than the one in my Hemps. I guess it dryer out a bit over the last ~3 years.
Boy, you can really see the scratched off paint on that one grill. Iāll have to touch that up tonight.

Road trip at some point, I would enjoy the company, we would burn the hours away so quickly playing with all the different pieces, Iām not that far away.

Where did you buy the cable from? Iāve been trying to find a decent budget cable to make my own RCA cables. But I havenāt had any luck so far.
I used Markertek, but I donāt know that itās any cheaper than any of the other options.

Headphone extension cable. No longer will I have to pull my coffee table towards me when listening in the living room.
USB to Optical adapter. I plan to use this with the Ares II since Iāve found their drivers to be buggy. Also apparently canāt change the volume digitally which is annoying as hell lol.

After several days of listening to the Sundaraās with the new Dekoni pads, the new pads really havenāt solved the comfort issue Iām having.
I still get the same discomfort by my right ear, but just to a lesser degree. That and I just canāt seem to get these cans to sit on my head comfortably, as Iām literally constantly adjusting them the entire time Iām wearing them.
I think Iām going to have to sell these Sundaraās and try something else, which I hate to do since I really like the sound of them. But I canāt continue on using them like this. It makes the experience not very enjoyable.
ahh that sucks. Iām still trying to see if adjustments to the headband are enough. Hopefully I can keep mine since I really like the sound, too. I have other headphones and i get slight discomfort on my right ear with them too, so maybe my right ear is just shaped weirdly. The next headphone I plan to get are Argons and those have huge pads, so hopefully thatās enough to make them comfortable.
