The Moondrop Aria arrived in my mail about two hours ago. It was my first IEM over $50, and well worth the step up. I can solidly recommend these. They have better imaging than I was expecting, and they are warm but not too much. They are pretty comfortable too, I might switch tips and cable before I start the day tomorrow, but a nice day one.

The silly knob is just that, a USB volume knob that I got when I first went to a compact keyboard. I have had that for a bit.

I think I have another toy coming tomorrow.

I got that BTR5 and am really enjoying it paired with my Moondrop Aria that I just got yesterday. They are a great pairing. The case is one I already owned. I wanted something big enough for both.

Picked up my AKG K361 yesterday.
I’m actually impressed with it, quite some time since I agreed with the reviewers.
Super easy to amp as well, my Poco X3 Pro plays it super well.

Did a bit of a “sidegrade” this week. I ordered a pair of Dali Oberon 3, and a Dali C-8 D (8" active sub). I would guess its a “sidegrade” and not an upgrade in the sense that i am thinking of replacing my B&W 685 s2 with the new Oberons. I do like my B&W speakers, and when i bought them , they where about the same “list price” as the Oberon, but i always loved my smaler Dali Zenser 1 speakers and been wanting to try a size larger Dalis. The Oberon 3 is a size up, and the Oberon series should be a bit better in general than the older Zensor series. Now i’m ready to let the Dali play a bit to get broken in, so i can A-B compare them with the B&Ws

(the speakers are going to be placed a bit further from the wall when i decide on witch i am keeping there)

The sub is meant to replace a very old Klipsch 10" sub, that for movies and games are great, but for music it is a bit slow and… unprecise. That said, i bought it 15 years ago for about $170usd back then, new, so i can’t really complain. I will find a use for it probably in the upstairs living room (not used much as i’m always in my “mancave”, so sound quality there doesn’t matter that much).

8" is a bit small, but the Dali is newer and has more power, so hopefully for music it will be a step up, if not for those explosions in Battlefield

(going to be placed under the desk, duh ! )

Harmonicdyne Zeus arrived today and is now paired with an Ifi Hip DAC and FiiO M9. I’ve been playing it for a couple of hours now, and I couldn’t be happier. I will now have to sell on a couple of sets of headphones as they are now utterly redundant. But that will just fund a better desktop headphone amp.

I’m not a reviewer, so I am unable to write a competent review, other than to say the reviews by Zeos and DMS just about cover everything. Full articulate sound, great soundstage. Can’t wait until they are burned in if they sound this awesome already.
