Finally got the bifrost 2 after 2 months of waiting. It has some scuffs wich is annoying because Iâve seen b-stock with less noticeable scratches but as long as it sound good I guess

As far as the scuffs go, Iâve never heard one making a difference in playback sound quality (OK scuffs on vinyl do, lol). As one myself that is sensitive to cosmetic appearances I do appreciate how you feel, but sometimes you just have to let it go and think of it as added character to the piece.
Honestly I donât think I would have noticed them if they were not pointed out. All that was going through my mind was âI wonder how it sounds and if they like it as much as I liked mine?â

So far first impressions are good. My dac was definitely the weakest link in my chain so the difference is noticeable. blacker background, better separation and more detail in the low end are what Iâve noticed so far. The scuffs are also less noticeable out of the light where the dac is set up so its not as irritating as I initially thought

The Bifrost 2 sounds amazing it was a total game changer compared to all the DACs I had before it and a few afterwards⌠I often regret selling mine and wish I was able to keep it and the one I upgraded to. Sometimes one has to let something go in order to pick up something else. Iâm pretty sure the BF2 is a piece that I will re-purchase.

I received my âused-very goodâ drop panda from Amazon today. They look good, power on, and pair correctly. But no sound plays⌠Over Bluetooth and USB connection no sound. With the 3.5mm connection they sound great. Just no digital connection works. Pairs but no soundâŚ
Iâm going to keep trying to reset them and get them to come alive. But likely going to be returned.
Any ideas for ways to recover these headphones? Or just time to give up and return themâŚ

HD580/600/650 and HD800S cables from LQI. I feel they do a good job.
Need to let them burn in. To let the sonic waves settle in and form as intended in nature, by bonding with an organic chemistry.

You can connect successfully, but canât get any sound? I wonder if the last owner screwed up the firmware. Iâd contact Drop support before returning them.

Saw a pair being sold cheap on eBay that stated they only worked wired (so probably still werenât cheap enough considering). So an issue with precedent.
Hopefully itâs not an issue that strikes working pairs too often? Thatâd be quite an investment to backfire.
Youâll have no issue returning them on eBay with that malfunction, really hope for sellerâs sake it didnât happen in transit somehow, quite the bummer for them if so.

I couldnât help it. I have been tossing this idea around for a long time. Reading, wondering. I even bought the tube amp to keep me from buying the Schiit Bifrost 2. Alas, it didnât work. A fellow member had one to offer, and I decided that it was time to just do it! So I did. Itâs even a Black one.
At last, I can finally listen to a next level DAC. At least for me. Absolutely no disrespect to the M200. I continue to enjoy this thing very much. It has been working beautifully with the TA-20. This is just an itch I had to scratch! I think the TA-20 will be even better with the BF2. I am very anxious to find out.

Dan Clark Aeon R/T closed arrived today.
The first sounds were not wrong, but you can hear that he needs the burn in.
I found the intimate but precise stage performance impressive for an hour of listening.
Letâs see what else comes out of these fine headphones. First they will be played in and then listened to.
In the background at the Feliks Euforia amplifier, the Socketsavers were recently added.
They are not bad either.

Mest Mk II - Brand new.
Everything from box, strap, accesories, cable and the IEM themselves, ouze with quality. 2 mins listening and I know already, that these are God tier IEMs and that no IEM I already have, are in the same league.
