Example of Dana cable. I always scratch my head when I see how expensive these headphone cables are. I’m sure people love them and they may make an improvement to the lcd4 or utopias but at 1500 how much improvement do they actually make.

Maybe with lower end gear it seems like that, but IME that hasn’t been the case once you get to nearing the $1k range and with most IEMs I’ve used different cables with.
I dunno… I’m sure there is a 1% to 5% change in sound quality but people described the Utopia as being fundamentally improved. So you go buy a used Utopia for $2k and then a Dana cable for $1.5k… it always made be scratch my head. Maybe I just need to hear it.
I actually would like to as well. But it really doesn’t matter. I’m never going to buy one. I think a quality cable does make a difference, but at some point you have to draw the line. Well, at least I do.
Partly because it’s not actually for sale, and partly because even if it were I wouldn’t be able to afford it. 
And for those that are curious.
