Is there a way to test without connecting to surge protector? If that is the same common denominator between each unit, it just seems weird to be 3/3 on defective units.
Iāve recently had to replace a surge protector I had for a couple of years. Thought it was fine until I hooked up a PS2 to it and was getting super noisy and terrible picture quality. Once I replaced it, it was fine. Everything else āSEEMEDā to work fine on it tooā¦
I personally wouldnāt rule it out as a bad surge protector. 3 in a row is a pretty big coincidenceā¦

Thanks for all the suggestions! I tried it with a different surge protector and it did not work. The surge protector is almost brand new, I bought it like 2 months ago. I have a Topping D70, a Sabaj D5, a Crown 1502 XLS, and a couple of computer thing using it. I had no problems except for the THX stuff.

Right. Even if 1 of every 100 unit is failing (which I imagine is a very high failure rate) that puts the odds of 3 in a row failing at 1 in a million- literally. .000001%

Iām sure Iāll go back to leather again soon, but I enjoy the suede much more than I did at first. Iām hoping the rumors are true that 1-2 new pad styles will be released next year. Iād like to see if a new pad would provide more detail than the 2 included because thatās about the only thing I find lacking

7 defective monitors (19" CRT back in 2003) in a rowā¦dif s/n, all the same defect. image would shift and become a rhombus. after the 7th, the company apologized profusely and upgraded me to a 17" LCD at no extra charge.

Well thatās pretty nice of them lol, seems like a significant upgrade. But was the lcd better then the crt lol? Some of the early lcdās were pretty rough
I felt it was a better upgradeā¦but LCDās on the whole back then are a pale shadow to what we have now. TN, slow response timeā¦but I loved how little space it took up my tiny room!

Maybe you plugged in those CRTs to a bad surge protector.

I switched to the suede thinking they are better for me but found i like the leather more.
I guess Drop will have enough 789 left over after all the cancellation.

I think they knew what was coming long before we did. Thatās why they changed their name. Itās the new business model. āDropā all their prices to stay afloat.
