Listen to bump by yosi horikawa and hear the details.
or anything that man does he is a master of micro detail, soundstage, and imaging
Ok to give you a healthy amount of hyperbole, this is the best competitive fps headphone I have heard personally, that is still interesting to listen to music on.
unboxing vid, guys is gonna give his first impressions later:
it is chonky
No theme reviews does a unboxing/review of the 1570’s. It seems Monoprice has done it. This is gonna be something special.
What if you just desoldered 3 and 4 from the headphone cable. Would it make it work for both?
Maybe resolder both positive to 1 and both ground to 2. Leave 4 and 3 removed.
I think lack the finesse to solder mini xlr Lmao, otherwise I would try.
I should get to try these out this weekend when a friend gets his, so all have to see what it’s all about
My guess is going to be around the 70-150 buck range
Yeah I think as long as your cable maker knows the pin-out you should be fine. Its just annoying.
I had audeze cables on hand that I wanted to try.
I’m curious if there is a significant burn in period
Yeah Im gonna give them a full run of a couple weeks to find out.
I found that I liked these most on metal/rock. Preferred over the elex and sendys for that. Those meaty drums gave me shivers. Also when you hear hear the drums they have that Soundstage and natural sound echo/reflection that you get in person. Deafeningly loud at 10 o’clock on low gain on the sp200. At 12 o’clock they make enough bass to feel like I was back in my old competition bass car. Very weird but awesome feeling for me.
OK, I just borrowed a SP200 from my friend, the thx 788 is not necessarily anemic in single ended power, but using the sp200 in high gain has upped the bass extension/presence a tad bit. (I use high gain but only have it a 12 o’clock and half volume in windows and half volume in tidal b/c im a freak of nature)
Kind of a random review…Warm sounding headphones a little bit dark…Mids sound incredible…Treble can be harsh at times…The high end of the treble’s pretty rolled off…Music can sound muddy at times etc
