Never need a another headphone again. This does it all
Yep muddy and harsh? lol
That pretty much sounds about what my first impressions were. I have to give them juice in order to hear the finer details in some songs that can easily be heard with other headphones. I never considered them to be muddy though.
Iām getting a balanced cable that Iām going to mod for it on Friday. I want to hear if that makes a difference, Iām still leaning towards sending it back. Then if I miss it or if it comes on sale, Iāll considering getting it again.
Bunch of statements contrary to eachother in that review, not sure where he heard muddy detail at. Also not sure how he says the m1060 is fatiguing but not the DT1990. I completely agree with his gaming/imaging bit.
The m1060 has some strange treble issues that can make it fatiguing for some, the 1990 is just bright
The ringing is no fun yea
Yea for me dt1990 is not a problem, but so help me God I could not stand the m1060, it just flat hurt for me in the lower treble. In IEMs I like 3 and 4k shout well enough, but 5-7ish k is my trouble zone from what I can tell.
Also for all the people buying this, From Black Friday to the 24th of December you can return stuff by the end of January. So in effect, people who are buying new get an extra 30 days to evaluate.
The Dekoni lcd suede pads work nicely on the m1570.
I think it was oversight on monoprices part to make the earhole in this pad this width(it blocks some of the fazor/waveguide), I think we could stand to benefit from a pad with a wide hole like a th900 pad. I may try this in the coming days.
the stock leather Is definitely a good pad, but its not matched to the headphone as much as it seems like it could be.
TH900 pads are nice, you might also want to look into something like a lawton pad too. My main concern would be that they may be too shallow imo
These m1570ās become so incredibly smooth and easy to listen to with the suede audeze pads. If the lcd headband helps the comfort like i hope i donāt think i cant help but use these. I canāt speak for what others like sound wise but this is very very nice to relax with after work.
These things REALLY need power then. Theyāll probably sound great with the basx a100.
I will test them with my stupid he6se setup, so I can give them about 35 ish watts at 60 ohms, so I wonder what will happen lol
Death by snu snu.
20 char
Youāll take a chance and melt the coil?
I think itāll be fine, if the 6se can take 55 watts this can take 35 lol. But I will be careful
How do they perform vs cans like the Avia and others in itās price range?
yes i would like to know this too
The Tin P1s are the hardest thing I have to drive, despite being an IEM (Not that I have anything crazy hard to drive)ā¦ and the 1570 has the same sensitivity at higher impedance, so Iām not at all surprisedā¦
