Throw this here… it’s a regular for me https://youtu.be/4kPyjUMmCL4

Everyone needs to hear this with a good source…https://youtu.be/z15lJR79pTg

JPop, Classical, Acoustics, Small chamber music, Jazz, usually more lightly tuned music with not much going on, I prefer focused vocals than a lot of distracting noise.

I’ve been exclusively listening to 80s new wave and industrial for the last 2 years. so a lot of Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, Ministry (but only their first album), Billy Idol, Camouflage, Gary Numan (early stuff), Human League, Nitzer Ebb, Icehouse, the Chameleons, information society. i’m just gonna link my playlist lmao https://tidal.com/browse/playlist/74956f9f-aa70-4c0a-a9ec-2f32c66fe7d6

Nice  Just needs a Thompson Twins track or two :+1:

And …

I think I have Hold me now and Lies. I’m actually not a huge fan of the Eurthmics.

I actually saw them at a collage gig when then they were the Tourists along with a couple of other 80’s bands the Selector and the Beat…live Annie’s is amazing live especially a very small venue.

Sooo nice!
I love classical music, also I used to play violin as a kid so it goes with me naturally my whole life. I’m from The Czech Republic therefore Dvorak’s From The New World is a must as well as his other works. From “our” interprets I totally adore Jiri Barta one of the best cellists.

One piece I especially like is G. F. Handel’s Messiah - just recently I bought the 2009 version by Stephen Layton, Polyphony and Britten Sinfonia (Hyperion) - it’s awesome recording. Another interpret I really like is Philippe Jaroussky and his counter tenor recordings - I was at his concert once and I almost stopped breathing how great (literally breathtaking) his singing was

Every now and then I’m going through the anniversary collection "111 Years Of Deutsche Grammophon which contains 111 CDs from this amazing label.

Gosh, I could be talking countless hours about music!

What can I say? Man is truly one of the greats.i can’t even find another rapper than can match that monstrous wordplay and add subtle nerdy references to anime, comic books, and adult swim shows

Oh don’t forget about George…

A good first post I guess.
I grew up on Hair Metal (Iron Maiden , Crue, Ratt) and the classics, Led Z, Boston, ZZ, then the Grunge sound took over for a bit. Soundgarden, Nirva ect. still enjoy most of it.

Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Pelican, Robert Plant, RUSH, Eric Johnson take most of my listening time currently.

My son has shared his favorites with me and now I mix in some, Lamb of God, Vulvodynia, Acrania, Black Tongue but have to be in the mood.
