POE Settlers of Kalguur League
I just finished up Metroid Fusion, in the middle of playing wrapping up Vagrant Story, and will probably start MGS here soon. I like playing 2 games at once Incase I get bored or stuck, then I just switch over to the other game
So started another Baldur’s gate 3 run, since it got a major patch (12 subclasses + more stuf).
And this time i’m going honor mode (meaning One save file, no do overs and some fight are really beefed up)
Also another game i want to shout out is that i have been play for a while now is, City of heroes - If you want a fun, easy going MMO with fairly simple mechanics but lots of variety.
keep in mind its very old game (21 years old) that was resurrected by its community because it was so beloved (recently the original IP holder have given written permission for the community project not only to keep multiple servers but also to continue adding to the game).
Its free (they accept donation to just to pay for the severs but its completely optional)
City of Heroes was a great game, and it is nice to see it still lives.
I have been playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and Tower of Babel: Survivors of Chaos.
9 Kings looks interesting, and is a roguelike auto battler.
Thanks for the rec its actually pretty fun.
Im trying to kick the rogue like habbit a bit playing too much these days
Also you might wanna check out Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, think oblivion but better, darker more mature story telling, amazing what a AA studio can make these days
I have it on my wishlist already, and it looks very good. I want to give them time to work on the Act 3 bugs before I dive in. The first two acts were in good shape after early access.
I have been playing more small games lately, and many indies are roguelikes. I enjoy the short runs, but that is because my life is a bit too busy.
I really enjoyed Blue Prince, which was the puzzle game that was all the rage about 2 months ago. That will likely win a bunch of awards later in the year, but some people will just bounce off of it. It is a tile drawing board game and a first person puzzle game. Schedule I is a fun game ( about making and selling drugs ), but very silly, and I will return as content gets added. Shogun Showdown, is a turn based roguelike that is pretty solid, it went with tiles instead of cards, and it works nicely. Nordhold is a fun tower defense with some good meta progression. I have just started 9 Kings, and it seems like an interesting combo of tile placement with random drawing, and an auto battler.
Tower of Babel is a Vampire Survivors like game that has gear like Diablo. I think my favorites in that category are this one, Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel, and Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor. This is a genre that has evolved in some solid games over the last 4 years.
If you want a fun FPS action game, I am really enjoying VOIN. Rogulike, RPG light, with great fast melee combat, and loot to equip. Think Elder Scrolls meets modern Doom, but as a roguelike.
Im exactly the same, im also not sure if im ready for another long playthrough… just finished BG3 again after the patch (honor mode this time).
you can try also shogun showdown, it came out last year but really fun game, quick sessions
Yeah feels like the older I get the more i like these types of games…although it doesnt help that my favorite genre is in such a bad state for years now (MMORPG)…
This is my favorite roguelike atm though.
I’m pretty late to the party, trust me I know, but I started Red Dead Redemption 2 about a month ago and I cannot get that game out of my head.
Since day one, I was sucked in like a vortex. My love for the game as a whole has only grown. The characters, details, immersion, map… everything is a sight to behold.
Right now I’m switching between Valorant and some classic PC strategy games. Most of my friends are hooked on battle royales, but I just find myself drawn to games that offer a mix of strategy and competition. I still pop into my older FPS games every now and then just to unwind after a busy day.
Besides regular video games, I’ve actually started checking out stuff like i-Sabong for a different kind of online gaming experience. It’s a pretty unique way to pass the time if you’re curious about things outside the usual games.
Been going back and forth with new builds in WH40K: Inquisitor: Martyr and Chronicon. A ToA/Heat Melee Assassin and a Poison Gas Turret/Drone Pilot build respectively.
Finally started playing Legend of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom on Switch 2. I’ve also been playing Mario Kart World with my youngest. I need to finish up a few games on my PC but thats normal
I just finished Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which was amazing.
I started The Alters, which is is starting out well.
I have been playing Schedule I and Caves of Qud a fair amount lately.
