I am really enjoying it. I am a huge fan of the OG Tea, and this is a subtle, but more v-shaped take on that. It seems like it has a bit more detail and a wider sound stage. It seems like they traded some mid-bass for sub-bass. All of that is without a hint of sibilance. It is still the warm presentation like the original.
Both are very good, and I think I prefer the original a bit more, but that might be that the more unusual tuning stands out.
I wanted to get the original Tea, but after purchasing it on Aliexpress I was told that they only have Tea 2s left and they are going to send me that instead. So, while I am still unfamiliar with that often discussed hear Tea sound, I got to try the second iteration of that IEM.
I have to say, as I expected based on the graph, the vocals sound a bit unusual. It will take some time to get used to it. That being said, perhaps as a result of tuning, there is a very interesting staging going on. Looking forward to using this IEM more
EDIT: Wanted to add that I am coming to this IEM from Blessing 2 and other IEMs with a more liberal pinna gain
I really enjoy listening to this IEM. The sound is ārelaxedā, you get some nice bass, solid lower mids, and parts of upper mids pulled down. Reminds me of SA6 in a way, but SA6 is more technical, IMO.
Personally I like the Tea2 stock silicone itself because it fits me perfectly. Tea2 is the only IEM in my collection that is using the stock earbuds cause I didnāt have a reason to use others.
Canāt do a comparison to the Blessing2, Dusk yet. Still breaking the Tea2 in.
Specific to my earholes, The Tea2 is a much friendlier fit. For the Blessing2, Dusk, I have to compress the foam tips and hold them in place, while they expand.
