To those who own the tea 2, how would you describe the nozzle length?

Iā€™ve heard some mixed opinions. I really donā€™t jive with shorter nozzles and need them on the longer side. For reference I really like yanyins shell design and depth of insertion.

Also, are there any other hybrids anyone would recommend in this price range (250 - 350) with this sort of tuning? Iā€™m just aware of the B2 dusk but I find that sort of tuning a bit shouty.

From someone who hates short nozzles, I find Tea2 the best fit for me. How do you find B2Duskā€™s nozzle though? I find it a little thick but has decent nozzle size. Tea2 has narrower fit and has better isolation due to its design.

Tea2 has note weight, intimate and is more laid back than B2Dusk. However Tea2 is not for basshead I believe.

NIce, thatā€™s good to know. I actually havenā€™t tried the dusk, I just know itā€™s the go-to in this price range for most people. Iā€™m more towards the relaxed tuning and donā€™t really like moondrop sound.

Really, as long as they are at least on the average size I think I should be okay. Thickness isnā€™t really a problem either.

I bought mine from that same store. Took a decent amount of time to get to the United States even by aliexpress standards but it is a legit product. According to hifishark, most of the used models go for around the same price as from that store new. I think other people bought from that same store and received a product. It just seems that maybe the store has a deal with XENNS as the top is listed at 476 usd if you are following it.

Theyā€™ve been at that price for at least a month now since Iā€™ve been looking at them. Itā€™s a good deal relative to msrp but most reviews Iā€™ve read feel thatā€™s probably closer to their ā€œtrueā€ value. Most donā€™t feel they compete with the competition at their full price.

Has anyone here had issues with nozzle corrosion? My tea already has some oxidation on the nozzles, I got mine in early December 2022.

Iā€™m guessing that living in a hot humid country might have to do with this.

Is there any way to protect IEMs that have copper from corrosion?

Same as any corrosion: keep it as dry as possible, avoid acid elements too (like sweat). Store it in a box with silicate gel. But those are preventive actions

Iā€™m not sure I remember my chemistry that well, but doesnā€™t oxydized copper make a layer of protective material for actual copper? Iā€™m not sure. And i doubt the tea2 nozzles are made of copper, but I may be wrong.
