Your top five most represented artists?

That album had good tracks, but it wasn’t great. Xenon was my favorite track.

White Pony and Koi No Yokan are both my favorite albums from them.

I have bits and pieces from all their albums. Full albums for me are Diamond Eyes (my introduction to them) and Crosses. I know that Crosses is a different set-up and a softer album, but I really like it.

I guess I like to filter my music. I love Deftones, but not the metal stuff. Same with Linkin Park. Tons of songs from the first 4 or 5 albums, but a lot of rap removed.

1 A-ha - its like omg look how high thats guy is singing customary joke. And their amazing output is just ignored.

2 Tears for Fears - Thought of as pain kings or fatalistic guru’s. these guys have lots of positive upbeat songs and range

3 Duran Duran - Always had image problems. Called pretty boys when they came out. their innovative and unique sound was ignored a lot. They have a lot of depth but are often considered shallow

4 Talk Talk - People only know them for “Its my life” people often dont know they started a whole new genre of rock. amazing band

5 Coldplay - Hated on for whatever reason their first 3 albums where masterpieces. B-sides from that period too. cant stand them after X&Y

Well if you like the more experimental stuff, White Pony, Koi No Yokan and Diamond Eyes are definitely the 3 most versatile amd experimental stuff the Deftones have done.

I haven’t listened to Crosses all the way through yet. Guess I have something to listen to tomorrow.

i think they get hated on mostly because in 1996 they were charging 80$+ a ticket for live shows. that got them a terrible rep off the word rip. Being labeled “greedy” is the worst reputation a musician can have imo.

edit: example: metallica before and after suing fans…

Your largest collection is A-ha? How many albums did they even put out? I just have their one hit, Take on Me.
