I guess itās custom. I ordered a leopardwood Salire and asked them to stain it as dark as possible. Bevin contacted me and said the Leopardwood would not be what I was looking for. Instead she offered me a special katalox wood that had none of the yellow sap in it.
I have a lot of different stands and I can say the Salire is really nice. The finish is beautiful and it is extremely solid and heavy. Iāll probably add more to my collection eventually.
