I’ll trade you a backup pair of universe pads for em if you’re down. That way once yours are worn you already have a backup. What do you think?

Haven’t used them much but I think I like them more. I think they’re slightly different. Maybe the foam is more stiff? Been using my clears lately.

You’re using some great headphones there. Happens to be the only two that I own. Although the clears are up for sale for economic reasons more than anything else. I’ll PM you now.

Edit: I do think I find the staging to be more like the Focal staging with the BE2 hybrid pads.

The Burl looks nice but idk. It reminds me of the 70’s. where you’d walk into someones house and they would have plastic walkways on the floor and the couch would be covered in plastic. On the table would be crystal grapes with brass stems. inevitably there would always be some burl somewhere in the room. idk, it reminds me of that lol

Soundstage is on the larger side. Playing the same non-binaural recording/song, if HD6XX is inside your head, Ananda is about couple inches around your head, the Verite Open (with Universe Perf. Pads) is about 4 inches around your head. it’s quite amazing in my opinion.

Yeah the stage is pretty good. Very natural and not exaggerated like some headphones. I enjoy them with everything, even gaming (fps).

Anybody got an opinion on having the Verite and the Focal Elegia? I feel like that’s a combo that covers a pretty different range while giving both an open and closed pair.

You can look at sold listings on HifiShark.com to see what they went for, the ones that popup on Head-fi at around the going rate don’t seem to stick around very long.

The warranty does not transfer, but they sell quite easily on the used market.
