You know, you raise a point. I probably have more money in tips than I do in most of my IEMs. Such is life. But I do have massive comfort problems. So having the right tip on hand for new iems is nice.
As mentioned, you can get them on amazon. My only gripe is I sometimes want sizes between the three offered.
I liked the AET08 way, but I can see either being the right answer. They were quality ear tips.
Yes, the sub-hobbies are usually worse. ear tips and cables for IEMs. I have bought a lot of tips only to discover I hate them, but that is part of the journey.
Recently got my pair. Loving how wide and great they sound. Only issue I have with them is a mechanical clicking sound in my right whenever I lightly tap it or walk with them in. Honestly a shame since I wanted to use these on the go with my iPod.
It finally got to me and they will be leaving not too late.
I did not burn that, but it is a sound that lacks sparkle, fun, a stage without depth.
I liked the Tea or the Spring 2 more.
For less than ⬠100 maybe together with the aria they are a good purchase.
The following songs sound phenomenal on the Timeless btw.
After burning them in for a couple of days, I gotta say that their timbre and ability to render textures are on a whole ā nother level!! Individual songs sound so much more distinct now and full of character. Nothing is āsameyā anymore with this pair of IEM, they made me re-listen to my entire music catalogue.
Oh my LOL ))
Tried to disassemble left problematic IEM with hot air gun (soldering fan) on 100 and then on 150 C
Without success. Cover did not budge even in hot state near 80 C.
During this heating process I held IEM with nozzle forwarded to the bottom (The faceplate and the label were on the upper side).
And now crackle disappeared or triggering level has been increased after heating process ā¦
(disclaimer is here)
With the timeless, the silicone tips act as in almost the others, right?
Larger mouthpiece, referential sound. Smaller mouthpiece, extra bass and less whistle.
Maybe Iām going crazy but I have been testing the 7hz timeless with the adhesive plastics that came by default. I have removed them and I notice something different. It can be placebo.
So disappointed: my left bud lose sound when I tilt my head in a specific way. It isnāt often⦠For now⦠But i have the feeling it is only the start of it dying slowly.
Recieved 2 pairs of Moondrop T-41 sponge eartips with an order which had not requested. Iād tried other foam tips with meh results. Thought Iād give them a try as they were free, and they have turned out to be outstanding. So much so I ordered 2 more pairs.
So far my best experience with Timeless is with Dekoni Foams. I think this has to do with the seal: the better it is, better the dynamics and impact is feel. And beating foam tips for seal is a hard job.
Iāve tried CP100, CP145, stock tips and Dekoni Mercury. The 100 do a fine job, but stock and 145 were a little bit lackluster.
Really good seal with these. Excellent bass and treble. Iām very treble sensitive and my litmus track āStarlingsā by Elbow passes with flying colours. Never tried Dekoni, being in the UK they are a bit expensive.
Very similar impressions, so itās good to know. Iām also outside the US but Iāve been in love with Dekoni for comfort for some time now, so I have some spares at home. I would say any good foams should be good, and I will look at these Moondrop tips to see if theyāre a good alternative to Dekoni.
