šŸ”¶ 7HZ Timeless Planar

Is is not too heavy for pocketing it in a bag?
What I found disappointing is that the case seems too small. If I want to put the IEMs there + a longer cable + additional tips, I kind of have to cram it into the box.
I find that a pocketable $2 KZ carry case does a much better job and carrying the IEMs around while still protecting them

not sure what you mean by too heavy for a bag
I can fit the timeless into smaller cases than the timeless case so not the smallest but it wasnā€™t meant to hold a longer cable + extras, probably the only larger cases than the timeless case Iā€™ve gotten are tinhifi and the thieaudio cases

@nymz You were right, these are so good for Techno.
Just bought them used and really like them so far. They have a great clarity, strooonnng rumble and details without having to put the volume up. The soundstage is very wide but feels kind weird being only in width with no depth nor height. Iā€™m also starting to love the high level of instrument separation that these offer.

Havenā€™t used a planar since January, but itā€™s a nice change of pace! Their resolving power is astonishing for the price point!

The Olina and Mele are the only thing that breaks up my Timeless and S12 listening, and I am seriously pondering the Hook -X.

The lack of depth is something that a number of people commented on when these first came out. I find that I have that with most planar IEMs, but the resolution and speed make up for it.

The width makes up for it. Granted I havenā€™t heard kilobuck IEM but the Timeless is super wide.
Last night I noticed in a song that the voice was moving from my right to my right eye to my left eye to my left and back again to the right and do it all again. I had never heard this in this song before. Iā€™m guessing thatā€™s great imaging on top of wide stage.

Do you hear the vocal panning right to left on KL?
I listened on cheaper sets and I canā€™t hear the panning.

Yes, easily :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

anyone tried them with a BT adapter? (like the FIIO TWS / TRN BT20)
With headphone i know more planners like a little bit more power

Spinfit CP360 are amazing with Timeless. The fit for me is perfect, comfy and it does not affect the sound. Much better that AE07 I was using before.

I had the timeless with the UTWS3 and while they sounded really resolving and werr a huge step up from my previous headphones I ultimately returned them in favor of the Olina because they felt a bit sterile for rock music. I hear they scale well with power though so it could be the UTWS3 wasnā€™t well suited for them. If you do I would rec getting the UTWS5

Cool thanks, and thanks for the recommendion.
I mostly wanted to know im not leaving too much on the table by using a TWS adapter (I daily drive a Legacy 3 with the KZ09 and im pretty happy about it)

I have a pair of KZ ZEX in the KZ AZ09 and they work pretty well too.

I use the Fiio BTR5 for nearly all the other IEMs I own, but I prefer having the extra power, even if I want wireless. I put it in my shorts or PJ pocket, and it works great.

Ya the AZ09 is surprisingly good for 25$.
I have a btr 5 but i keep it when i want to go headphone, that why i asked about the adapters

Currently listening to my Timeless on the UTWS5.
Sounds damned fine. No lack of power.
Iā€™m actually really rather impressed with the UTWS5.

Makes sense because Timeless is V shape so itā€™s not the best option for rock. My library has no rock (at least not on a daily basis) so Timeless do fine when itā€™s called for for electro and hip-hop.
