damn I take back what I said about this season prior it;s kind of a sleeper no super highly hyped stuff aside from like megalo box 2 and My hero 5 but god damn some of the anime this season is great
Im really enjoying these 3 specifically
Fumetsu no Anata e
Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou.
Good call, I shaved is great. Like I got hooked on the characters so I literally just got done reading all that is translated in English in the span of a few days. My god does it touch on some heavy shit and give genuine and interesting characters and relationships. I’d say it’s up there with my favs of slice of life/romance-ish lol.
yeah it’s pretty heavy adnd I have to kinda mentally prepare a bit for every episode to see if it hits me with something. tehe beginning of last episode fucking killed me a little made me really sad thankfully the rest of the episode was some good drama and was lighthearted. But I’m really afraid of waht can happen next cause this show has not shown itself oto be a rom com. so a possible former guy she slept with could show up or police can come knocking at the door. I jkinda just want at least one nice chill episode next week
Yea man, like there was one point in the web series that was pretty uncomfortable to read man, but hang in there things are really positive in the books unless he(the author) goes full ntr in the future or something.
Has anyone else watched “When They Cry”?
I watched the original release. I don;t remember much though I remember it being a dark show
I’ve been watching it. Can’t help but to want to watch another episode, and feel that it’s dark and rather fucked up. Can’t help but feel terrible for Rika… Particularly after being able to remember how she died and who killed her.
I remember not really enjoying the show that much as a kid but it really doesnt align with my taste generally but I did watch it all it;s a dark show. thew only thing I remember hbing really impressed by is my familiarity with the characters at the end of it as it had a really strong main and supporting cast and had some really nice world and character building in the little village. I really dont remember finishing it. I think this was like in 2012 when I was just getting into anime
If someone had asked me what my #1 manga would have been, I probably would have said Attack on Titan IF they had nailed the ending…but what would have surpassed that would undoubtedly be Berserk…
The reason I wouldn’t put it as #1 is because of the lack of chapters (probably like 4 chapters a year). Now, it’s sad to say that this manga will never be put to rest…
Kentaro Miura, legendary creator of Berserk, died on May 6 due to acute aortic dissection.
Berserk is on my read list. But I’m waiting for a great cottage weekend where I can sit Ona dock and read it start to finish.
If I had to pick I think mine might be re Life. Im a sucker for well done slice of lifes and having one that has a satisfying ending is nice
Oooh! I enjoyed re Life as well (the last of the bonus chapters came out today so kind of a coincidence)…
My top slice of life would have to be 3-gatsu no lion (March Comes in Like A Lion) as far as manga…
A Place Further Than the Universe would be my anime slice of life pick.
Sora Yori was my anime if the year when that came out super underrated.
Late to the party, here. But here’s my response regardless:
Violet Evergarden - Absolutely stunning animation, astounding plot and impeccable voice acting with a stellar soundtrack to back it all up.
I’m dying to buy the BD for the movie but there are no subs available unfortunately…
There’s only one solution left: Learn japanese. (Kidding!)
You know, to be entirely honest, one of the major, (pun entirely intended) reasons why I want to purchase high-end gear is just so that I can listen to its soundtrack and just fall in love with it.
Well I actually am…lol
But still a whole many years left!
Where do you get your music? I’m curious…
I use a combo of recochoku and cdjapan…
I simply use Spotify as my central source for listening to music at the highest quality attainable. Tidal isn’t supported in my region, (not to be revealed due to obvious person reasons). Additionally, I don’t normally purchase physical copies of music.
can confirm, violet evergarden soundtrack is breathtaking on my setup, such a beautiful OST
