Absolutely stunning art, right there. Enjoy!
Anybody watch Those Snow White Notes and thinks it absolutely blows (especially compared to Kono Oto Tomare)?
Music is alright and character development is almost nonexistent…
Only reason I keep watching it is that I’m too far in already and would rather finish it.
i think it’s decent, but i agree kono oto tomare is a lot better and character development needs work for sure.
If anybody is interested in the Kimetsu no Yaiba OST you can buy it digitally for a reasonable price on qobuz (cd quality)…
GitS:AAA = very good, same story quality as SAC & SSS, loved the music, including the fact that they changed the end theme for every episode, also loved the intro visuals, looks like they took a hint from the best, i.e. the Ergo Proxy intro. <3 Sad that the Motoko voice actress wasn’t Atsuko Tanaka this time around, but kept telling myself that since it’s a prequel and everyone’s younger and voiced by some other actor it’s OK.
Fate = loved Zero (minus the childish comedy moments), liked Night (same), watched Apoc just to check it off the list but by then the magic was mostly gone.
We got a release date for the Jujutsu Kaisen prequel! This is gonna be good…
It is one of the anime I have been watching this year along with the other 2 which are completely different to each other in terms of genres. Eighty-Six is one of the best out there in my opinion and should be given a chance to be watched.
The other two however are more light-hearted than that, and that would be Zombieland Saga Revenge, an anime about idol zombies, yes Idol Zombies and it is actually the first anime that made me watch an idol genre one, and this is coming from a guy who is not into idols. The second one would be Super Cub, yeah it’s a bit weird for me watching an anime about a girl discovering the joy of riding motorcycles along with the progression of having friends along the way in this slice of life anime.
I’m completely speechless…the packaging and presentation is insane !
Although I didn’t find the Demon Slayer anime to be spectacular, movies from Aniplex rarely disappoint. The movie should be available digitally everywhere on the 22nd.
Enjoy the eye candy!
Oh wow. Yes, that’s impressive!
Not the biggest demon slayer fan, but that has to be one of the coolest cover arts I have seen for a blu-ray, that looks amazing
Now that is worth every penny spent on that, you know you have spent something worth it when every detail, presentation and packaging are done with the most effort.
Not into Kimetsu no Yaiba (aka Demon Slayer) but mad props to the creator who made a great anime to those who are into it. If only Berserk can get the same treatment but alas, Berserk 2016 and 2017 happened, and may Miura rest his soul in peace.
Im actually a big fan of the manga and anime of demon slayer. its honetly one of the better shonens to be released not exactly the best. But it’s one of the best shonens that really show it’s influences on it sleeves and is not at all afraid to show it. Along with my hero acca , jujutsu kaisen we have a good set of shonens. Fire force and black clover while I’m not a fan of these 2 are also nice performers especially black clover apparently improving over the first few episodes that were rough.
Yeah, I do like Demon Slayer too but the problem lies with the anime. In the anime, the pace was a bit slow and it felt dragged out. In addition, the animation is inconsistent and not up to snuff with the likes of the fate series, jujutsu, or fire force (in terms of consistency). That being said, ep19 was a glorious exception!
Have not watched hero aca and black clover (kind of got lazy with the shonen).
Jujutsu kaisen, on the other hand, deserves to be at or near the top spot. Everything on that show is fairly balanced imo. I don’t really have anything bad to say about it. It doesn’t do outstanding things, but it does everything fairly well.
Fire force…um…this show’s got some problems. I kind of gave up on the anime and manga (have about 40 unread chapters). The anime had great animation tho, one of my favs. I might pick it back up eventually to see if it improved.
My hero needs to be watched for at least season 1 then the rest is a bit of a roller coaster up and down in regards to story and excitement but is just pretty fun overall. Jujutsu kaisen doesn’t care at all about slowing shit down and I really appreciate it for that. Fire force while the animation is good. I didn’t really fall for the rest of the anime within the first few episodes so I kind of dropped it same with black clover. But shonens In general right now are in a good spot.
That I can agree with…I’m looking forward to Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie coming out in December.
I guess I should’ve asked this at the beginning of the season, but anyone here watch Oddtaxi?
It is superbly written and very unique. Sleeper anime of the season bar none!
At first I thought it was giving out some Yuru Camp vibes, but boy was I wrong - I’m glad I was.
Well good news for Demon Slayer fans…
I watched the movie last night and thought it was solid, but not spectacular. Still worth the watch imo and the ending was done beautifully!
Well… This has been a day of catching up, but… Damn…
Episode 23 of So I’m a Spider, So What? and I’m still on a whole “I need to know if my whole horcrux-like theory is correct” given that even if the parts of the MC’s soul has been destroyed via the magic used against her by the demon lord, there is still a fraction inside the demon lord, and is that enough to secure her survival?
Little bit of stage setting in Season 5 of My Hero
Only one episode of Nagatoro-san, and right at the very end… I couldn’t help but think: this. This is a smile you protect.
Have some tissues ready. Watching it with 86 when it aired on saturdays was tough…
