Its the adaption of the last arc that was not animated with the original run a decade ago.

So no, you need to know the story before it. Still love the og anime though, but you should skip the filler arcs.

A quick suggestion, try out Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon slayer, the arcs are short, good action and stories and great animation (Demon slayer lastest season is possibly the best animation ive see ever movie or show).

I have read and watched all of demon slayer. JK is good too, i need to rewatch before another season to be refreshed, but I had no complaints with it either.

There are so many moments I can’t wait to see animated from the final arc. But I have to wonder how they are going to handle some of it. Kubo leaned into the body horror just a bit for this.

I know I am late but I did watched it quickly when all episodes of it are now available. Cyberpunk Edgerunners is one of the best video game to anime adaptations ever that I have watched and I am glad I have made the right decision to do so. A bit short for me but the pacing is just right. David, Lucy and Rebecca are the highlights of the show in my opinion and yes, I am expecting a not so happy ending since it is a Cyberpunk genre.

Still though, the freaking ending hit me hard and that “song” to this day, still hits me and I cannot listen to it as the same as before, before the anime was a thing.

Something to keep an eye on is Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury (Kidou Senshi Gundam - Suisei no Majo). a friend told me about this one, watched the Prologue (episode 0) which is great and the 1st episode seems solid.

I am still on copium after the anime to this day, and I have made a mistake of binging it the whole day and it was a roller-coaster of emotions for me the whole day.

On copium meaning I have been downloading fan arts of David and Lucy being finally a couple or having a wedding scene. For Rebecca? probably an alternate timeline where she and David became together or just David being a chad having two of the girls as his own.

But yeah, Trigger made an excellent job and I think I am proud I enjoyed Cyberpunk 2077 since day 1, despite the bugs and issues, and I am not exactly one of those people who just get into hype, for I always had low expectations on the game to begin with. At least it is getting better nowadays

Its always ran basically fine for me on pc. I know old gen consoles got shafted, but my experience was preem choom. I wouldn’t trade it for anything, very imersive with the atmosphere and tone.

Yeah the characters, setting, lore, soundtrack, immersion and atmosphere are just overall nova. I wonder if they will ever do a season 2, if not tbh, there’s no need to.

oh man, it was AWESOME!
That ending, were they showed scenes (while playing the OP) from the whole series was just a blast to the past for me.

So just had a chance to watch the first episode of Chainsaw man, to be honest im kinda on the fence.
The plot and characters seems great, dark with a morbid sense to it, and the main character is interesting but the animation im not sold on, it could be my bias against 3d taking center stage, also thing feel less “smooth” or fluid then other headline animes that more strike a balance between 3d and 2d.

But its just the first episode and maybe the overall feel of the visuals would grow on me, and the overall fight chorigography is more fluid

@Rikudou_Goku hehe figured I’d pop over here to show/explain. I got plenty of room and 2+ series to finish. I am thinking very heavy on Solo Leveling now that its getting released in English/books(future anime). Lol so thanks for that…

Damn, what a collection. I read all my stuff online so no physical manga. (except a few dragon ball ones.)

Been kinda interested in getting a physical E reader since I have been reading LNs a lot lately…
