Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews (A Million views?) Part 3/4

that’s almost exactly where I run out of steam and I’m a few years younger than you

over a hundred live shows with no hearing protection had something to do with that…wouldn’t trade the extra treb capacity for the memories though

no shit list for you brother

Interesting. 16.5kHz was my limit on that vid

On that YouTube video I get to 12.99X. if I use the tone generator on Squig I get to 14 kHz before I am uncertain. I am 52 years old. My audiologist say I have above average hearing for my age, but they only test up to 8 kHz if I remember correctly.

That would be a very large book! However, I do know of reviewers who would probably be ranked even worse if they did post the results

I can’t do the test at the moment because all I hear is ringing since I started Chemo. My hearing is certainly not at its best at the moment either.

The last test I did (about 2 months before starting treatment) was around 15.5k, which had dropped from around 16.3k last year. No idea if the tumour had anything to do with that or if it is just too many bassy tunings this year

It’s gone at 16Khz

Heads up, linsoul may have a glitch on their site, the BUNDLE with Thieaudio Origin is cheaper than the standalone IEM.

The price has gone up since yesterday but it’s still cheaper. I’m guessing only a limited number of them are cheaper.

AND they already shipped it for me even though it’s supposed to be a pre-order

I felt like the audio somehow cut out at around 16-17k region. But up until then i could hear it.

Last year there was something similar. Linsoul flat-out canceled my order then and told me to re-order at the correct price.
This is why I was waiting now until they corrected it before ordering the Origin.

So for now I’ve ordered the Punch.

The Origin will be for tomorrow.

If Linsoul ever messes with you on one of my collabs let me know. This isn’t Fatfreq.
I can get stuff done with them. :100:

Yes, as Chris demonstrated in a lower post there’s nothing there. But while definitely a thing, not sure if YT compression is to blame there, cause here I found an article where they use YT for those samples and it works fine, can hear those 17,4 kHz very clearly.

Here’s another one I found, which is not on YT. Goes from top to bottom too, which I find more convenient.

Can hear those aliasing artifacts they mention in their article, so definitely separating the test tone from that.
My limit is around 18,5 kHz, kinda surprised by it at my 33 years. I’ll take it tho, at least some healthy part of body remains lol

Oh you guessed it lol, absolutely nothing.
I guess their replies live in that 20 kHz region somewhere, ey? Lol

Checking all the channels every day to see if any luck. Email, website chat, Facebook, Instagram. Spam folders even lol

There’s no chance on earth that they haven’t seen at least one of those at this point. No chance.

It is what it is… The wait goes on.

Guess I got lucky. Not only did they not cancel, they shipped it out like 10 hrs after I ordered.

I just got notified my Deuce was rejected by customs for “incorrect/insufficient product description” on the postal declaration, package has been returned to sender, Linsoul. I’ve ordered from Linsoul a lot, first time this has ever happened.

If they give me any problems on refunding I might take you up on that.

I’m soon be 41, and I still hear till around 15000-16000 Hz but it is barely audible there and it slowly fading from around 14000. Only interesting thing is a shift to my right ear between 6500 and 8000 Hz and near my limit too. Seems like my left ear is not that good as my right.
