šŸ”¶ Beyerdynamic DT880 600Ī©

Well, of course you donā€™t need a pair.
Just saying if you like neutral-bright sigs and the price is right - youā€™re pretty well equipped.

Among my favorite fits and pads.

i have ordered dt 880 600 ohm from amazon and everything went smoothly and it is one the way now , i also have ordered Asgard 3 and after two days they sent me a massage that they canceled it because of suspicion of fraud , i think they did that because i have ordered it from my country Sudan where as my credit card was issued in Qatar where i work.
my option now is to order people lake 103s as recommended by falenkor before , the problem is it is more expensive (328$ including the shipping) than Asgard 3 (284 $ including the shipping ) , what is your advice ? should i get it or wait till i get back to Qatar and order the Asgard , if they are very similar in performance when paired with dt 880 i can sacrifice the price difference and avoid the hassle of waiting more 6 weeks till I get to Qatar to get asgard 3

Did you try talking with Schiit about the transaction?

Yes , they said i can use Pay pal instead of visa card , i do not know why accepting pay pal and rejecting my visa card , the problem is pay pal is not working in my country , i can not even open their website , it is totally restricted in here

See if they will accept another payment that works for you similar to the paypal method. I had the same issue but paypal works in my country so it went smoothly from there. It seems with ordering internationally itā€™s not a smooth process as for the locals. After some back and forth emails I did get my schitt ordered.

Ok bro , i will give them a headache , thank you for your kind advice

Does anyone know of a headband replacement for 880ā€™s that resemble Audeze headbands? Ones with lots of coverage on the top. I saw Dekoniā€™s but they seem to be a bit small.

I have one of those in Pebbled Black.

When placed on a TYGR with the HP being so light it makes it very top heavy/lop sided.

You adjust sure but on a DT 770 it feels better imo.

Wow that looks really plush. Found that ZMF makes aftermarket headbands (Pilot and Copilot) that can fit the 880. Will update when they come in to see what theyre like.

Bass head GAAAAANG

Have you ever REALLY heard the spoons on Spoonman, mannnnn?
Not until just now, with these puppies.

Yes! The DT880 is certainly a headphone that will help you hear the rhythm on your own!

I picked up a set of DT880 600ohm this week, and so far the thing Iā€™m most surprised by is the comfort. The sound is great, but largely in line with what I expected. But the comfort is outstanding!

ZMF pads on 880s suck. The pads fit fine on the naked band but the velcro is so bad. Constantly ripping off, not to mention thereā€™s almost no padding as it is. I use two hairties to keep the pads sandwiched, wish I didnā€™t spend $55 on this.

They are indeed comfortable. I even like the left side only cable. All my gear is to the left of my lazy-boy.

my gear is on the right side of my listening chair :pensive:

Dekoni is the best for Beyers

Just ordered the Pilot pad for my T1 hope it fit :call_me_hand:

Just set up my DT880 600ohm with an Asgard 3 amp and built in DAC.

Iā€™m enjoying the sound, but feel as if Iā€™m missing something. 50-75% volume level is comfortable listening level and I can turn it up to full volume without discomfort on certain tracks. Iā€™m 25 with no hearing loss.

Iā€™m not trying to blow my ears out, but Iā€™m curious if the lack of possible volume is an attribute of the headphones or something missing in my setup?
