I mean if I also buy a cable it’s 50 bucks so I dunno if it’s worth it compared to other warm or midheavy headphones (used to a V shape like M50 or sennheiser sound)
Understand, they are very worth it imo. Heck once you get the right tips and cable to get over the fit issues out the box they can compete against things 10 times their total price. There is a very good reason why they are so hyped but with caveats.

QDC would work but you’d have to file the square corners of the blons round to fit, .78mm fits fine.
I use the stock cable, fits fine for me and is really plyable so I don’t get horrible microphonics sitting at a desk with it, I did on a NewFantasia cable I returned because of it on the HD6xx was bad. You can test out the stock cable and decide if it’s worth then buying another cable. I’ve heard people trim the hard sleeve of the bend to allow it to fit their ears better, I didn’t have to do this though.

Yes and no, for me the cable was fine, t just tangles really easily so I ended up switching to the other cable I got.
I use this EQ for my BLON BL-03 on my Chord Hugo 2 / Chord Mojo / Emotiva TA-100. It’s the best EQ I found so far. These are AMAZING IEMs, very similar timbre with Sennheiser HD 800, same type of sibilance and texture, but much more dynamic sound on the Blon’s. Very clean, crisp sound, but the bass gets muddy easily without EQ. For Windows I use Equalizer APO + Peace to import these filters.

As you can see it has elevated bass (not in a good way) because it creates a boomyness and the bass is not tight enough. Also the mids/lower mids are a bit recessed but the biggest problem is the lack of lower treble which with the boosted bass, it creates a non coherent sound and a hazy sound.
I own HD800, DT1990, stax L700 and still very impressed by the Blons. Even more than DT1990.
Are these eq setting for a PEQ?
tempted to pick these up now… anyone know the diff between these and the new bl05’s? They are slightly more expensive… also I see a linsoul and a hifihear on amazon? Same product?
Blo5 has different build and depending on who you ask worse or better tuning. And fit is slightly better for most people 03 fit me fine.

Anyone know how to fix the mesh of the BL03, I have no idea how it got dislodged, but its coming out and I’m worried about the driver getting dirty.
Easiest answer for me was,to use the tweezers included in the moondrop starfield. I removed them and then placed them back. I didn’t like the sound change.
Problem is mine are going in, instead of out where I can reach them.
What about using a needle?
It’s supposed to change the sound some, clean up the bass to be less muddy and probably brighten the treble. As @Rikudou_Goku said, needle to get the current mesh out, it’s got a piece of black fabric (felt? or paper?) on the back and is a bit sticky, you should be able to mash it back flat and then get it back in the ear canal but there are cheap solutions if you want to play with the sound signature too.

I’m considering the BLONS but I have doubts if they are similar to the entry level IEMS I currently own and I should aim to a more mid range sub USD 200 IEM.
Right now I have the TinHifi T2 and the KZ ZS10 Pro.
I’m considering the ThieAudio Voyager 3 - ThieAudio Legacy 3 - Moondrop Starfields or TinHifi T4. I should get the BLONS or take the step forward?
All you will get from the blons is a different signature really a pleasant bassy Harman really won’t resolve better than the kz and is darker than both the Tins and the kz. But if your curious and $35 isn’t a big deal to you it’s a decent buy. But honestly a step up might be better in the long run .

I think it is wise if you get the blon 03. You can find out and narrow your sound signature further down and when you step up you will have a better picture on what you want.
