I put my guideray gri through a full cycle the other day works fine though
4 days so far, and driver never recovered sadly.

RIP BLON3, you will be missed,fuck I put my HIDIZ dongle through a wash cycle(it was a dirty lil whore),fortunately I noticed, bagged it in rice like for 3 day ,and I’m proud to say she sounds great everytime she takes a 3.5 mm.

Got an L3 and P1 so it’s all good, but I did really enjoy it’s movie 5.1 binaural performance. Got it at the sale price of $26 so no biggie

Here they are finally. My first sound impression is that they are not much different than the KZ ZS10 Pro. I could only get decent sound with foam tips, not with the ones included. The cable is much more decent than I expected, also similar to KZ cables. Good purchase but I still have to discover the sound.

I’ve been using the BLONs today and if the KZ ZS10 Pro didn’t exist I would say that they have good sound for the price, but they are ridiculously uncomfortable and you have to find good tips because with the stock ones they are useless. I think they are overhyped.
I had some issues with fit at first too. I found what helps me, if you are wearing them over the ear, turn the top more towards your face and all comfort issues went away. Might help for you but I didn’t have an issue with the stock tips on them until I lost one. Using the Dekoni foam now and it’s a bit annoying putting them in and out at work but I like the sound.

What do you guys think about the new Blon 05 IEM?
the general concensus around the internet is its better built yes but overall bot a worthy upgrade and has a lot of issues regarding tuning many people are having issues with liking

Yes, with the foam tips (I have some cheap generic) they sound fine, but it’s really annoying when you have to take them in and out during the day. I prefer silicon tips. The KZ tips work fine and the ones that came with the TIN T2 also do a nice work.

I believe most reviews I saw before buying were saying to change the tips and cable as those suck. I am using foam tips since I got them and tripowin cable from linsoul that Z recommend. Same for my wife. No issue once you play with position a bit a find your spot. Had Kz for a while and Ab them shortly and prefer blon for my music but everybody has different preferences.
Definitely would say those are worth the price plus extra cost of cable and tips.

For me comfort is near perfect I just want a slightly deeper tip. They are definitely overhyped but I would say the same for the zs10 pros as to me they kill my ears with treble and the blons dont.

I just jammed out to the 03s this morning, they are still top notch, with the caveat that I needed to swap tips back to spiral dots. 
So good sounding! They are only slightly behind my Meze Rai Solo in detail, but they don’t have the annoying(slightly and to me) tonal characteristics to deal with. Reference is the first song on the Witcher 3 soundtrack(The Trail) where the second singer does 2 different vibratos with her voice in the intro. 
About the music bois.

I think they are good. I settled on Spin fit tips for my comfort and fit. However, I just don’t think I’m much if an IEM person. I prefer large obnoxious cans on my head.
I got the Blon BL-03 yesterday along with the Urbanfun. I had fit issues with both of them but resolved it today. Needless to say I wasn’t expecting the BL-03 to be as good as it is. It’s not very detailed but its frequency response is very impressive for this price point. The Urbanfun in comparison doesn’t have as pleasing tonality, but it’s very detailed in comparison. Both are easy recommendations.
A note worth mentioning is I’m using large spinfit tips on both and I am replacing the BL-03 cable. It’s pretty bad. The Urbanfun cable and case both are fantastic! I was impressed.
Both of these IEMs are insane value.

Curious, have you tried a wide bore tip like spiral dots on the blon, I find that they really improve the sound on them. Not just fit, but smooths remaining peaks in treble and balances the bass so the sound is more detailed etc. I’m curious if the same,is true,on the urbanfun, but I need to wait a min before another spending spree LOL
