Well i feel the need to straighten out something. i feel your not expressing objectively. 1st The Deals thread was only discussed twice months apart. and the feed back i got was more people liked the drop deals i posted than did not. thats not exactly ignoring the “community” 2nd the discussion wasnt exactly “constructive” as i was virtually attacked and criticized with strong emotion by a few.

But seems like this conversation will stay civil if it goes any further than this reply but you must’ve not seen the poll that was somewhere around 70% asking for drop/amazon deals to not be posted in the thread and 30% in favor of keeping it as it was. Also sorry if you feel like you were attacked but that was not the intention of anyone trying to make a point to you, I gave you valid arguments and tried to make a valid argument rather than just saying it’s annoying. Now being criticized some could argue is deserved by the responses you gave people with a differing opinion than yours. Also no offense to you but I kind of sense the opposite regarding your last sentence.

And i wasnt talking so much about you but some people where very emotional i didnt get the sense that they where just trying to make a point and a valid argument. i mean go back and read it you’ll see what im saying. regarding my last sentence, this is a audiophile forum lol, there have been some arguments lol. but we’ve always kept it civil

That’s what I mean though, when you we’re presented with a valid argument is when you snapped and made it not civil. Before I was involved you seemed to be ignoring what people said pretty well. I get that you didn’t like a lot of people coming at you at once trying to present why they weren’t a fan of your constant posts in the thread but from the beginning you were always very standoffish and not willing to listen to what people had to say.
Davis thats because i didnt agree with what a few where saying. I counted a number of people who supported me and even bought some of the deals i posted. you dont know the history. i did. it really did seem like a few where just being overly picky about it

To be fair the people that were posting supporting you just didn’t like the fact that multiple people were speaking up to the issue and felt you were getting ganged up on for no reason without full context. Not sure what you mean by I don’t know the history but I’ve called you out about the same issue a few months prior to yesterday. Also it may have seemed like a few people were being picky but I think only a few people wanted to call you out on it and a majority of people were annoyed by the spam posts. I’m going to leave it at this and go to bed, feel free to reply if you’d like and i’ll get back to you tomorrow haha.
