So i just noticed that the custom cable I picked up from a random dude on reddit that I’ve been using on my Clears for the past few months is actually not dual mono but stereo… How i did not notice this before now is beyond me. Is this a problem? I haven’t noticed anything wrong in all this time listening and just wondering if there is any significant reasons I shouldn’t use this cable.

What do you mean by not dual mono?
Assuming it’s dual TRS instead of TS, but as long as the pin out sends the left channel to one tip and the right channel to the other tip, it should work.
Would like see this custom cable. Makes lot more sense.

Is that teal? It looks teal to me. I’m looking at that pattern and the diamond pattern in teal for my Elegia and Nighthawks.
I was also eyeing that one. Almost picked it.
I was going to play it safe and go for a black and white to match the original Focal cable but I think seeing yours has tipped me over the edge. I want some color in my life!
That is EXACTLY what I did. I usually prefer black/gunmetal everything for a nice clean look, but after seeing all the different color/design choices I decided to go for a pop of color.
Here are a few pics of my latest cable creation - a short-run HD800S cable terminated in Eidolic (both the 4.4mm and the HD800 connectors) with a very supple copper cable which I braided (my first ever 8 wire braid)
Pretty pleased with the result, although I would really love to find a way to make the L/R indicators look a bit more professional
