Lines up with my impressions when I got to demo the Hype 2 / 4 / 10.
They are all great IEMs, but none truly wow’d me. Then again, as a Monarch Mk3 owner I am obviously biased…

MTouch means no Android?

Probably just a typo for “touch”.
I think MTouch is their non-android UI like HibyOS or Darwin:

One thing I can say in favor of non-android OS for DAPs - half the time I use a DAP I want to play from MicroSD, but the other half I just want it to BT receive from my phone.
The non-Android ones switch to BT receive in a second and are very reliable, some even switch to it right after booting (which is also quick on the non Android models) if it was the last way the DAP was used.
Conversely on Android interface ones, switching to BT receiving mode is very hit or miss in settings, and every couple times things have to be manually re-paired.

that is one bad name for an OS lol.
Non-android devices tend to have a lot better battery life as well, since there are a lot less services running in the background.
