Sound performance and reviews
The HS3000 headphones are named after the “Hichiriki” – a traditional Japanese wind instrument that plays the main melody in the Gagaku court music.
Tone: They offer an organic and “earthy” sound profile with rich, tight midrange reproduction and expressive vocals.
Detail: According to minidisc.com.au, the midrange is extremely detailed and the highs are natural. The low-mids are slightly “hollowed out”, which contributes to a large soundstage.
Comparison with HS2000mkIII: The HS3000 is more neutral and detailed compared to the thicker and “fun” sound of the HS2000mkIII.
Overall Experience: They are designed to provide an immersive listening experience without distortion, thanks to the hybrid enclosure and advanced driver.”
Damn, the first thing that came to mind was an IEM in a wheelchair (professor x)…
Ok that is probably the Dunu Titan X.
The price kills marmots in their burrows ![]()
Its housing—forged from 18K gold-plated 24K pure gold through precision craftsmanship—features ergonomic contours that meld seamlessly with the ear’s anatomy.
I looked up the listing and legit thought it said ‘hosing’ instead of ‘housing’ and, to be fair, if you read the description with the ‘sonic aristocracy’ etc it ought to say ‘hosing’ ![]()

These have been out for quite some time right (as in: not an updated version)?
No. The original version. There was a sale at a local store and I got it for 1/4 of the price. Amazing value!
That is a steal! Congrats!
