damn, the assasin probably would have fit the bill for sure. I was trying to keep it open ear. I know you aren’t a big headphone person but any idea on possible open backs for that?
I have not seen anything like this cuz I believe this is QUITE the niche tuning to aim for. Best would be to use PEQ on the B3 you have.

unfortunately my setup does not allow me to add EQ. I figured this would be a hard thing and would essentially require DIY

Do note that this is VERY uncomfortable sadly, the pads are VERY small and will likely hit your ears inside. Even my relatively small (asian) ears hit it.
Yeah this has been the standard monitor hp in japan for decades. Its meant to be used by pros. Cable is VERY long.
Love the sound though, awesome mids and despite low bass quantity the texture is great. iirc my Assassin 2 was meant to be the bud version of this.

Should be priced around 150 usd, lowest I have seen is close to 100 usd and max would be around 200 usd.

Do you have any extremely low reaching into sub bass buds?
I was given a challenge to show earbud that can reproduce the noticeable humming of this track. It can be easily heard on well isolating IEMs (on Twilight on moderate listening level it is almost impossible
to hear, on Galaxy Buds 3 Pro on the other hand without a problem), but according to this guy there is no earbuds that can replay it well therefore he discarded the whole genre
