NICEHCK × KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS EBX25Ti…
Our very own @Valphonics getting lots of well-earned attention on reddit for their latest earbud, Lander-20Hz. Check out the post and give it an upvote if you like what you see! Bassheads should take note ![]()
I’ll share my impressions once I get to try the set.

I thought I’d give these a try, even if they’re not great they should look pretty fly with that cable lol…
Ooooh nice, please report back ![]()

If you’re like me and really enjoy FHA’s studio but would like an ever so slightly warmer set that’s as additive then don’t sleep on the FENGRU CZ32.
My first “quick" tryout saw 4 hrs pass just like that. ![]()
Kept trying different genres to see if I could catch them out but to no avail, every time they delivered a wonderful balance of detail, stage, timbre and warmth.
I found they worked best with a SS source adding any tube warmth wasn’t needed at all, so if you get a chance to listen to this set (or blind buy them) then please do, like I said a Studio with audio rosy cheeks lol
I just want to let anyone who might be interested know that I recently started a wiki for earbuds: http://flathead.wikidot.com/. It’s very much work-in-progress but I’m regularly adding content and always welcome input from the community.
First time in 20 years I’ve doubled down on a set just incase, well just incase like.
Clear shells this time with a matchy cable.
My non professional audio take on the Fengru CZ32 v’s FHA’s Studio…
I did all the A/Bing using a Hiby R4.
I’d say the CZ32’s has better overall bass which digs deep giving Joni Mitchells piano on Court and Spark better note weight leading to a more impactful sound in regards the lower register but loses to the studio on the upper end due to it’s better upper mids and treble.
Bicep’s Glue and the CZ32 has an easy win and that goes for most electronic and bass focused music.
Bonham’s kick drum on when the levee breaks hits hard plus I think Plants Harmonica has great timbre on the CZ32 too.
Mids are pretty 50/50 tbh, I’d give upper mids to the studio where as lower mids I’d give to the CZ32’s.
Treble is one of studios strong points so wins here, bringing precision, detail and air that never becomes sibilant
CZ32’s treble is a bit rolled off, it still has detail but not
as much, on the plus side that allows louder volumes if that’s your thing.
Soundstage, this one shocked me as without a good listen I’d have said the studio, but after a lot of A/Bing and a lot of replaying Floyd’s On The Run, I thought CZ32 had the upper hand.
Take all that with a pinch of salt as I’m no reviewer, If I had to choose out of the two then it would be the CZ32 it kinda suits me and my library better, but I
could totally understand why folks would take the studio. That said both sets are good in their own way also great value IMHO and are going nowhere LOL.
Tempting, especially that cz32 ![]()
I’ll bite. First flathead. Sonic description seems to fit my prefs. I’ve spent more on ear tips, I can’t not try these.
Stoked to only pay for the buds too. I have a cable.
I have two of Jim’s sets enjoy bro ![]()
I meant the FENGRU CZ32
Man that set is dope # soundstage, timbre and bass etc trades blows with studio, both of those sets are crazy value ![]()
Oh and Please, please let us know your thoughts when you get them ![]()
Thanks @Valphonics really looking forward to this one and that cables dope ![]()

Really looking forward to hearing what you think!
I would love to respond on head-fi but the mods will slap me ahaha. They’re very picky.
The mods on head-fi…
If you don’t pay, then you don’t play…

Good god man you must’ve worked so hard to get that crazy bass response out of a FH without totally fucking up the rest of the frequency response…Listening to
