What a pain in the ass. Even through video if you out a straight up bass heavy song or a super low frequency playing Iām still sure it will be easy to prove that your dynamic driver died
Just like with my focal headphones I had considered returning the fh3 due to concerns about QC but they actually donāt have an issue so far so I guess they r in the safe zone

As for the Faaeal cable, I dont have any problems with them and use them with almost all my iems. (I got 5, wished I bought 10 or more lol).

I actually prefer if the FH3 were silver, since black doesnt look that nice to me. I am a sucker for the chrome silver metal iems.

I dont think the hip-dac will be an upgrade more like a sidegrade.
I would recommend that you get some other iem since you already got a good setup.
Dont know if your budget allows it, but the LZ A7 that i am currently using and reviewing (brand new iem released less than a week ago) is actually very good and somewhat similar to the FH3.

I would say it is usually cheaper on aliexpress though. But sometimes linsoul have some good deals that are only on their own site (DD-audio store is linsoul on aliexpress).
But personally I will never buy anything from linsoul again, so I cant rec them.
What happened?
I bought from them multiple times as a regular customer. Each and every time I have been treated like shit, because of constant lies. (also bought very expensive stuff during their 11/11 sale, only for the black friday sale to have those same products but WAY cheaper, I lost 200 usd from buying during 11/11 instead of black friday that was 2 weeks after).
The last product I bought from them was the Urbanfun ISS014. Took 3 months to get here. And the long time wasnt only because of the shipping company, they didnt ship it out for WEEKS. And everytime I asked them about it, they just said āwe ship it next weekā. They told me that over and over again ( I even paid extra for DHL EXPRESS!).
Then they also told me and promised (before I ordered) that the MMCX problem of the Urbanfun had been FIXED. 3 months laterā¦gravity detached the cable from the connectorā¦
I posted pics on everything at head-fi, never dealing with those pieces of shit again. (Oh and the urbanfun thing was when they knew I was going to review itā¦)
EDIT: Sorry for getting ranty, just remembering that pisses me off.
