So i’ve only had these for a week now, but i think my thoughts haven’t changed one bit really so ill just leave my two cents and call it a day. Musical tuning, nothing is too forward and generally is a very laid back IEM. Pretty good imaging, i’m still super impressed by the detail, not the best at recreating a space but so far no iem has been able to at the price ranges that i’ve played with. Fit is a bit weird, i feel like it’s the first IEM i have were i have issues with fit, like i put them on feel that something is wrong until i take them off and put them on again until it feels and sounds right. I love the smooth treble and general laid back sound paired with actually great tonality for stuff like Heize, 스텔라 장 - 환승입니다 . Like the Fh3 literally gives the best rendition for those two songs and albums that they come from. Decent bass (this was the biggest dissapointment TBH because i heard it was competetive with higher tier IEMs, it’s not), i like the mids and treble mixed with the quantity of bass. i think it’s just a good combination of everything.

Interesting on the fit, I didn’t have any issues with that when i had mine(returned to Amazon) I like the lz a6 better, so gonna stick with that, glad to hear you are liking your fh3.

A6 is certainly a great iem.

certainly was quite interested in the a6, but i think ill pass on that one and move on to the jvc drop iem. seems to be up my alley and a good complementary iem for my fh3

The A7 is out now, currently using it and writting my review on it.
I like 3 of the configs on it a lot so its going to be a 3-in-1 review lol. (finished with one of the config and it is already at 2500 words 
)

Potential to de throne the a6???
Dont know yet. I am only familiar with the one I like the least out of the 3 configs I can use. It is the neutral config and I like it enough to put it in S rank lol.
But I can say that the A7 sounds much more natural with much better timbre than the A6 and the Imaging is outclassing the A6 (the best imaging on all my iems).
(This is with the neutral config (Monitor-Red) vs the pink filter on the A6)

dont have it lol.
Fdx1 will be a great compliment since it is very different imo. Very neutral super detail with some sub bass. It leans cold, but that is its charm with music and can be tweaked slightly to have have a fuller sound if needed. Never getting rid of it!

Same problem. My bass in the right ear is now DEAD. I bought on aliexpress. I try contact the vendor and Fiio. So sad.

Damn, dude. Sorry to hear that. If you got it on Aliexpress you can open a dispute and at least you’ll get a refund.
I saw in another thread they’ll just replace the unit if you send the item back to China, which in most cases end up being expensive to deal with the shipping price to China.

Even though my pair is OK so far, I’m really starting to think I might just return them over the QC concerns. I purchased my pair through FiiO’s store on Amazon US so hopefully that should be hassle free. I’ve been paralyzed from even buying a cable for them over fear that they might die. It’s just not feeling worth the worry.

Sucks that so many people are having QC issues with these. Mine have no issues so far aside from the insanely tight connections, hoping that holds out. I bought through amazon and have a warranty but I’d still be really bummed.
On a positive(?) note, these have ruined my whole audio setup. Like… What these are doing just works with the stuff I listen to so well that I really haven’t wanted to touch my headphones. I’ve tried going back a few times and I always end up missing the “low end injected directly into my brain” delivery that these have. I’m seriously considering selling some stuff that I thought I would hold on to forever because I’m getting equal to superior enjoyment from these.
My music collection ranges from rock to extreme music genres like deathcore, leaning more towards the latter but hitting pretty much every genre in between, if anyone cares. Not what you’d call typical audiophile listening, I guess.
Also gonna add, for anyone that may be inspired to get these after reading my hype-riddled posts, I EQ pretty heavily. I don’t listen anything stock and I gave these a pretty substantial bump in both the 5k and 12k ranges, as well as a little low-end bump.
They’re good stock, but none of my “holy shit” reactions are coming from the stock sound. Just something to keep in mind.

Heyooo… newbies here,. Quick question to @PapaEmeritus have you gotten your thor yet? What’s your ootb impression compare to this, would this suffice a basshead needs? Me myself using zs10pro with boosted bass from fiio e17… . does this eq well?
Waiting for thor mjolnir review aside from bggar to come out before i pull the trigger.
I will have to prove my problem on video to the seller. If I cannot prove it, I will have no right of return. What a headache.
