šŸ”¶ FiiO FH3 2BA 1DD

One month later and I finally got my refund from BrightAudio Store. Took a week longer than it should have due to some long-ass holiday they were having in China.
But Iā€™m glad itā€™s over with.

I use an ES100 paired with my phone or my Garmin fenix 6S every time I skate without issues. Range isnā€™t great when working out, I have to put it in my left pocket so itā€™s got direct line of sight, but I blame the watch for that one.
I would use it more at home, but I leave it in the car so I donā€™t forget it lol

My friend who owned Tin T4 asked me if he should buy FH3 for an upgrade? I donā€™t know how to answer cause iā€™m still waiting for 11/11 to buy the FH3 lol     Have anyone tried them both?

yeah t4 is kinda ass lol. i would recommend the fh3 for sure over it, better bass, mids, highā€™s are both pretty good but tamed. fh3 all the way tho

I wouldnā€™t see the FH3 as an upgrade, rather as an addition.

Both are tonally tuned very differently, so they can hardly be compared.
For example, I would use the T4 for acoustic, jazz, blues and the like, while the FH3 certainly has its qualities for pop, rock, punk and generally bass-based music.

But in general I would say, the FD3 sounds less ā€œintrusiveā€ and is tuned a bit warmer.

Matches my sentiments for the T4 and FH3 pretty much spot-on. I think that the FH3 would have more mass-market appeal, but they both hold their own depending on what youā€™re listening to or looking for.
I canā€™t comment on the FD3.

Just ordered this. Was debating between tin t2 plus, moondrop starfield, and fd1. Iā€™m looking for something similar to audeo pfe sound signature - balanced, relaxed, with a good extension but not fatiguing for long sessions. I donā€™t mind if the fh3 is an upgrade but I based my decision on the positive reviews.

Now Iā€™m not fatiguing but on the first time I do
Cuz previous headphones was shure se215 (they have so few high frequency)
So now Iā€™m get used to it

I replaced the FH3 stock cable by the FH7 stock cable and the treble and bass sound more defined and crisp. Soundstage is significantly wider. Anyone tested this cable?

Can you tell me, which tip are you using?

I just got the FH3 but I find somehow the bass kinda of lacking. Does anyone tried to EQ? Have good EQ settings to it? Before using the FH3 I was at the Blon 03. I really like the Blon bass presence.

It is deff a bit more sub bass focused compared to the blon03, I have not EQed it, but I can say that you may be after warmth, so if you can bump around 200 to 300hz maybe you will get what you want.

Hello! I got 1more Quad atm. Can anyone make a comparison with FH3. Is it going to be a significant upgrade?

Any dac amp that have bass boostā€¦i use fiio e17

Yes, itā€™s a huge upgrade imo. I liked the quad driver for a bit but itā€™s no contest in terms of how clean this set is. Those are bassy but an absolute mess in comparison to what these do with low end. It has been awhile since I listened to them but I would be shocked if they did anything better than these.

To the best of my knowledge, silver and titanium are not yet commercially available.

Oh boy. :joy:

I actually wanted the titanium colors, but then unfortunately my sennheiser broke and I couldnā€™t wait any longer. anyway, here in Switzerland only the black ones are available today. @undulationer

Can someone recommend some foam tips for Fiio FH3.
