If I want foam I use the ones that came with them, but Dekoni tips are pretty nice.
I use them on some other IEMs
Iām looking to get the Fiio Fh3 today (since its 11.11 and some discount).
Been going between these and the starfield.
Currently I own the blon 03 and the fit on them sucks (not even talking about getting a good fit, they simply fall off my ear sometime).
Going around looking at reviews seems everyone suggest Fh3 over starfield. Is there any thing I need to get with them (like cable upgrade etc)
Stock cable sounds great imo, but it picks up a ton of sound if it bumps into stuff, so if you plan on mobile use a different cable is a good call.
Do you have cable suggestion. Looking to spend at max 20$ on the cable
I donāt personally own this one but it seems to be the go-to low cost cable for a lot of people.
Those are the 3 best measuring cable at that price that I know of.
Lol
I have T500 comply foam 0.5 mm
but they donāt fit on fh3
but spinfit cp145 have 0.45 mm
how they fit on fh3
FH3 > Starfield all day everyday.
I wasnāt a fan of the stock cable, too heavy and microphonic. Go with any of the recommendations above.
I bought a 2nd set. Iāve been swapping between bluetooth and my home setup daily and the connectors which were sooooo tight when I first got these are now letting the cables loose with little effort. Pretty sure Iām gonna end up killing them like this, so one will live on the bluetooth hooks from now on and one will stay at the desk. Considered looking for another IEM instead of doubling up but nah, I love these things.
Also caved and decided to buy a nice cable for the desk setup, ordered the Dunu DUW02 as well as a balanced adapter. I should be set on everything IEM related now.
TRI Through Iām interested. How are the ear hooks? Is it comfier compared to stock cable? Is it lighter then stock cable? What ear hook type was the most comfortable to you? Iām looking for something with smooth soft feel. Thereās gotta be endgame stuff in this department. Any suggestions?
The Through weights similarly with the stock FH3 cable. But it has a much smoother and softer ear hook. Much better than the stock cable. It is tied with the Faaeal litz copper cable as my nr 1 cable recommendation.
Currently C+ (I rate them about 9.25/10, quite good. The best SQ Iāve heard in an IEM so far, but Iāve only heard up to the $200 range + Blessing 2)
Interesting storyā¦ I bought my FH3 on Amazon, ā1 left in stockā, āArrives by Nov 21ā. Then I checked the FH3 page to see if it said, āout of stockā. It now says, āIn stockā, āArrives (soonest) by Nov 16āā¦ So, I ordered THAT one, and cancelled the slow one lol. Wtf???
You disagree with him?
lol THAT part. I just read the review.
And yes, that is something hard to ignore with the amount of flaws people have encountered.
I also find it very bad that they only have a rep now (when the hype is dying down) instead of the startg when I literally called out (another Fiio rep) about the issues, only to be ignored.
Hello, iām very interested in this thread.
So far iāve got 3 iems, my first was Tin T2, then Satrfield, and tin T4. Iām using Galaxy S8+ Tempotech sonata HD Pro, with a male to female jack cable extension, before pluging in my iem, to force it to give its full powerā¦
Tin T2 still impresses me, yes it lacks sub-bass and there is a lot of trebles. But it is punchy on mid bass (i love them), they arenāt fatiguing, especialy since i got the DAC. Mids could a bit more bright.
I only use silicon tips, they are so much better soundind and confortable!
Starfield, areā¦ good, soundstage is pretty good too (as good as tin T2), BUT something is lacking. It is like if you were listening music in a different place from where it is playing. Sound seems distant, you are well surounded, but you are not there! Not enough impact, brightness, on electric guitars, not enough punch on bass, trebles are ok. Resolution is good, butā¦
Tin T4 are BRIGHT, but they sound so good! Whatever iām listening it is lively, energetic, you areā¦THERE! Listening Dire Straits (DSD), everything is superb (bass, guitar, vocals, imaging, soundstage), i have no other word. Listening just the first notes of āonce upon i time in the westā is just pure emotion.
When listening hard rock (ACDC, Queens of the stone edge) Guitars sounds agressive (in a good sense), it is realy good. Mids are realy forward (i like that), and maybe i would like bass to come more forward with them, especialy on busicn tracks (metal, stonerā¦). The more iām listening T4, the more i prefer them other the Starfield.
Can these FH3 do that, i mean bringing the bass while keeping lively mids, trebles and vocales on buier musics?
Thanks.
Edit on 18/12/2020: i bought Spinfit CP145 (M and L). I have to say that the Starfield sound really better, i should say āreally goodā, i have no more complaint about them!
Still waiting for the FH3 (Christmasā¦), really want to try them!
Mids are definitely forward on FH3, I would say. And everything about FH3 sounds quite natural/real, lively and interesting(and just great). Do it They poop on pretty much every IEM and earbud Iāve heard up to ~$200.
How does Fiio FH3 sound compared to Ibasso IT01? I kinda dislike the mids in it01, I think itās too thin for my taste, would FH3 fix the issues?
short answer is yes,
just test the FH3 on busier music like super fast crowded metal song or orchestra, it sound so good.
The best thing about FH3 is the bass, I donāt mean that it deliver a huge bass quantity, but the bass quality is amazing, without a negative effect on mids.
plus, you could EQ the bass without any distortion.
much love from Indonesia,
