Do you own the fhe ? I donāt know.
The fox said, the bass less bombastik and the treble less fatiguing than the fh3 . Its mean shit bass ,shit highs. But he canāt say it like that for his friendās earphone, what he gave for testing from Crinacle.
Iām sorry for my opinion and donāt try to twist my words. Thanks.
The review seems pretty good overall, you are starting to sound biased here.
You made a bad purchase, just stop being negative, move on. The IEM is not bad, you just did not like it.
Funny enough, he showed your screenshot as independent measurement, when itās a HBBGAR screenshot, to mention where the treble goes down, when Crinacle has is resonance peak always at 8k.
You made a bad purchase too, stop being positive and move on. This forum is not for praising this sh*t
If i want to be positive then I have to say, the fhe has a very good technicalities for the price, very good stage and details, clear vocals , i like the separation most. Its not a basshead iem , but some tracks sound wonderful on it in low volume(!) If the high notes dont sting knifes in your eardrum.
I did a bad purchase? Yeah, thatās why I am enjoying music several hours every day with themā¦
INTOIT recommended the FHE, and said that it was in his top 3 list in the 100$/200$ bracket. Then you post the review misquoting him, implying that he said it lacks bass, when he did not say that. Also he said that the Fh3 has smooth treble, and this is even smoother.
At this point, you just seem salty. It doesnāt seem good faith, so, again, you can do your thing, I am just moving on. Enjoy.
I figured this would be the next step to you lying about something, goodbye and enjoy your well tuned basshead iem with smooth highs
Iām not an expert but i believe that the lack of pinna gain emphasizes other frequencies.
I have the problem with CRN. Very flat pinna makes the treble over emphasized even if itās not on the graph. Just my 2 cents.
ouch, if your FHE graphs like that SuperReview set Iād be a bit upset too, my FH3 already has a bit of an audible ~5khz peak so (considering the same BA drivers) that particular FHE would be unlistenable for me
that said Iām sure that is not the intended tuning especially considering the few other graphs out there
Have a pair of these. I think they are decent. The fit is great (I have had a few IEMs with fit that I would consider unacceptable - Tin Hifi T2, Shouer Tape). The build is solid.
The sound is decent, very enjoyable in certain genres (electronic stuff), but maybe a little ādryā for general use. You would never describe them as lush. I had similar feelings about the DT770s, though I prefer these.
What do you mean dry ?
What do you mean dry ?
Not sure of the technical reason behind it, and I apologise for the esoteric description. I think it is something to do with the quality or quantity of reverb, or rather a lack of it, affecting the ambience. Itās one of those things that I find hard to describe, but I know it when I hear it. My HD600s for example would be a counterpoint, I would not describe them as dry. The X2HR are somewhat dry. The Mele are not dry.
Reading back over some of the comments above. I donāt agree that the treble is harsh. Thatās not my experience. But I guess some people are more sensitive to certain frequencies than others. Might also be a function of the music you are listening to.
I think I do agree with some of the comments which are suggesting itās lacking in the ambience or timbre department. Might line up with my comment that it can sound ādryā (apologies again).
Is it my favourite IEM? No.
Is it bad? No.
Would I recommend this headphone to others? Probably not. I think there are better choices for less money.
Having said that, I donāt āregretā purchasing it. Itās an interesting IEM that I will continue to pickup. Itās also one of the most comfortable IEMs I own, and well built.
In the original state the fhe totally useless for me because the harsh fatiguing (dryš) treble ,but this starfield filter tamed the highs and i enjoy the sound now. I think I will keep it

Thanks for your opinion /insight. Which iem would u recommend over this one? For the same price range

I think other people would have wider experience than me, and could provide a more comprehensive recommendation. The FHE, are actually the most expensive IEMs Iāve purchased. I have more experience with headphones. Of the IEMs I currently own my order of preference (based purely on my perceive pleasure in listening) would be:
HBB Tripowin Mele (despite the QC issues, which I hope have been resolved) >
CCA NRA (despite the fit being a bit awkward for me) >
KZ Zex Pro (growing on me) >
Fiio FHE
In the past Iāve had Shure SE215 (great fit, meh sound), Shouer Tape (garbage fit, interesting sound) and Tin Hifi T2 (garbage fit, meh sound). But I would see no cause to recommend any of those. Iāve had a few other random sets which I canāt remember (tennmak something, ā¦)
Bit of a coin toss between the NRA and ZEX Pro.
Regarding fit I have a preference for IEMs with a relatively shallow insertion, where the body of the IEM can sit close or be in complete contact with the outer ear. The NRA have a longer nozzle than the Zex Pro or Mele, which for me, and the tips I have means the body of the IEM tends to be slightly pushed out from the surface of the outer ear. Iāve switched to Ikko I-planet Tips (small) which minimises this effect, but it does annoy me slightly (I donāt think it has much impact on sound, just my own neurosis).
The Shouer Tape has a long thick nozzle, with any tip in which I can get a decent seal, feels like someone is trying to have unlubricated sexual relations with my ear canal. The Tin Hifi T2 seems like they were designed without any consideration for the shape of the human ear.
I understand. Thank you for your reply. Hbb melee seems Interesting
One of my favourite reviewer, watched it live, and i sort of understand how Fhe sound.
Really tempted
Really tempted
Just watched the review, I thought it was a kind of mixed review. Out of curiosity what have you heard or seen that has you tempted?
