I’m just saying you get substantial improvements from a rnhp + enog 2 pro or su8 for the clear, just something to try eventually. If the clear isn’t comfortable to you though perhaps you would want to look for alternatives

If you haven’t tried a Koss, kph30i/ksc75 etc, i’d say give that a shot. You will be surprised if you have dismissed that lineup.

You could jump on the Panda Express, but it won’t arrive until June??

Im not one for BT headphones, and the panda is just downright ugly. Wont wear that no matter how good it may sound. When I pick up my Aiva I look at them for a second or 2 before putting them on my head. The panda not so good looking

Yeah I just looked them up. I see it’s a hype thing. Looks like LCD 1. Can’t see the soundstage comparing at all.

Honestly it makes the most sense for me to get the clear… But I thought it might be worth checking to see if anyone has any suggestions that could be more comfortable.

I have some other suggestions but I think you would want a better amp to take advantage of them imo

The aeolus is still an option as an ‘all rounder’ single headphone given how drastically the pads change the sound of it, anyone that owns one can attest to that and you can read the differences in discussions about it. That said, I’ve no doubt that the clear would be more resolving and neutral, while the aeolus is more of a fun choice.

I was thinking the verite with a nice solid state lol. Or the adx5000 with a tube lol, as I think those are upgrades/sidegrades from the clear

You should really invest in a amp dude. Or at least a more powerful portable like the Xduoo. If you do decide to get a ZMF the Aeolus with the suede pads sound a little like the Elex. its very nice

Those are certainly one of the ones I was looking at. I’m interested in ZMF in general because of the customer service and human element. The Elex was wonderful but the channel imbalance is a great example of what mass production can do…
