They typically go around 450-500 I have not seen a good condition elex at 300

And if they went for $80 normally with only 1 working driverā¦ then heckā¦ just buy 2 brokenā¦ swap the drivers and you would have a pair for less than $200. Lolā¦ if only.

Just check the used marketās that actually have em on sale. M0N is much closer.
On the $300 range youāre looking at wear and tear that I donāt think is worth going for. At $450 on average youāre looking at much better condition. Not to say that itās impossible to find a very good condition pair for 300-350 but itās not the norm imo

Those first two listings are pretty suspicious, they claim open box but itās clearly used and itās both from the same seller (actually all are from the same seller). They
And the 3rd one has the pads swapped for some reason and itās just kinda sketch overall. Just reminds me of like adorama camera or something lol
I suspect that now the price has come down to 600$ and theyāve been available for a while that used prices will settle at 300-400$ i know we dont like to see our valuable and beloved headphones drop in value. but the way i look at it, if mine break and i cant fix it, it wont cost me so much to replace them. iām just a poor boy after all.
You also have to take into account buying used that replacement pads drop once a year on drop, and usually sell out inside 1 day, or you buy clear pads for $200.
Iām all for stuff getting more affordable, I just worry those have been tampered with in some way.
On av exchange reddit most recent elex are being sold for around 500, which I would say is a more accurate representation of price for community
On ebay current and past listing hover around 450-500, with the exception of the seller you linked which is strange. I see a fair amount of dead side drivers or broken elex go for 200-300
I donāt mind them going down in value, Iād be glad for more people to experience the Elex because I love the sound. I just think itās a bit misleading to say that theyāre going for 300 when the average price for a pair in good condition is 400-500.
The one for $250 is from the same seller as the $80 broken pairs.
The others for around $450 I think make more sense. I have not seen them for under $400 for sureā¦ the best prices are around $450.
That seller from Indiana, who knowsā¦ maybe he just sold them not knowingā¦ or some other reason.
