Please post foreign music (altho depending on where you live anything can e foreign) that we would never hear about because of where we live or language barriers
heres a lo fi remixed filipino song I bumped into on soundcloud might not be what you might be looking for but I really enjoy this https://soundcloud.com/lv-ly/mahal-kita
Thanks I actually kinda dig lofi so maybe Iāll like it. And Iām very interested because Iāve never heard Filipino music
old filipino music is a wierd emalgamation of spanish love music, american folk and country music, and rock. new fillipino music nowadays is trying to mimick american pop or kpop.
Iām very interested then, I love Mexican or Spanish ballads! I probably know the most about that music than anyone in the forum
i would recommend āDen Svenska Bjƶrnstamenā. Its a Swedish pop/folk band, and they have some well recorded bangers! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jI2EcRXR7RU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsKHlSmv2q8
I have listened to Greek music since I was a kid, as my Father is Greek. I highly recommend Stelios Kazantzidisā¦he is the equivalent of a Greek version of Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley wrapped into 1.
Stumbled over this Bulgarian choir session last month. personally, I find itās multi-layered tonality and slightly odd time signature a beautiful orchestration. Thatās to say Iām thoroughly intrigued.
@anon54878099: Great post BTW, love the idea of embracing music of different cultures.
Hereās some OG mexican music for when youāre drinking pretty hard.
Hahaha
Hereās another one for when you break up with someone
Thanks for this. I thought it would be a good idea because most people say current music is bad but they are limiting themselves to one language or donāt look deep enough. I believe that you are bound to find something great if you look without borders
Agree, after all it is to be appreciated.

Musica Nuda - Live Ć FIP
A combination of Italian songs performed only with a double bass and amazing vocals, also there are a few of English covers of mainstream pieces
The cherry on top is the amazing recording quality, easily of the most well recorded albums in my collection
found this fantastically moving piece of arabic wind instrument music. It blew me away on my headphones!
I highly recommend Wednesday Campanella for anyone even slightly into EDM or J-Pop although I donāt think either of those catagories describe them well enough. They have a lot weird conceptual stuff and a lot beautifully produced stuff closer to traditional(?) EDM.
https://youtu.be/4qPSHOTzidw I think Melos is a really good intro to their stuff, but Ra, Genghis Khan, Aladdin, and Shakushain all slap. Their two most recent albums are the more experimental, less musical ones but I still find them enjoyable.
Another recommendation for Greek music is a modern artist, Notis Sfakianakis. Here is one of his most popular songs.
im gonna post some estonian music soon, but meanwhile here is a song about the Baltic Way
Heilung describes their music as amplified history from early medieval northern Europe. I Love this live album, great quality. The female singer, Maria Franz, is just amazing.
10:50 for some tingles.
