I have a few amps myself, but Iāve used the Fiio KA17 dongle DAC numerous times on the fly and on the desktop pc. You can get these at a fairly good price. The sound/performance is great. I Paid like 175AUD from ali. Plenty of features aswell

I actually still didnāt get Eris.I thought 10 days ago, the same day I commented that Iād get Eris after I get back from work but itās out of stock.So now Iām waiting and hopefuly they start making them in October as Zeos said.Only once I had 50mm driver headphones which were like 25 euros and they had some heavier bass so canāt wait to get my hands on Eris to actually have good, clean bass..Usually when I think about something a lot I tend to have a dream about it and yesterday I dreamt about being inside a store with Beats headphones being infront of me on a desk with pink being the cheapest haha.I watched multiple times **The BASS VIOLENCE headphone - Zeos Eris YT review so must be from that.**Funny how brain works sometimes.I was like āgive me any song with bassā and I felt vibrations 
I listen to songs a lot so eventually music dream would come and it was crazy 
While waiting I also saw review of new Topping DX5 ll which is like 300$.I could afford that but I saw some negative comments about Topping amps not lasting long, having some problems.It does look really nice but as Zeos said Fiio K11 R2R gives you sound quality that is better than some more expensive amps + I guess Fiio K11 R2R has more linear sound so it fits more Eris.I also want to avoid buying things that are very new as thatās how I made mistake with Beyerdynamic DT 900 Pro X headphones for which a lot of people complain about headband.Always better to wait a bit as product could have some unsolved issues, you never know.

Iām entertaining the idea of getting the Eris before theyāre (maybe) gone forever. I love my DT770s and my Fiio FH3s. Is the sound signature of the Eris gonna be up my alley?
Iām a tad bias but I try to think that Eris doesnāt sound like anything else. Itās truly focused on soundstage and bass response. Some people find the treble a bit spicy, but. I feel like thatās solved by wearing them in staging mode.. The fact that you have beyerdynamic means youāre probably immune to treble anyway.
ALSO THEY ARE BACK IN STOCK AT LINSOUL!!
Hopefully they drip back to other retailers too and we see if the headband pad is now available.

personally found the the 770 to be muddy/bloated sounding but I enjoy Eris
Iāve seen a lot of people like the 770 though so different ears and use cases I guess

So the headphone Show acknowledged Erisā Greatness by putting in above the UNIVERSALLY LOVED HiFiMan Audivina. I never thought this day would come but Iād love to thank all of your praise and support for my creation and this is the best Christmas Gift I could have ever conceived.

So I got my Eris on Monday, burned them in for a couple days and used them most of the day yesterday, they were working fine. Today I put them on and the left side was barely working, and the right side was at like half volume. I switched the left and right inputs and nothing changed, so it wasnāt the cable. I didnāt do anything to them since I last used them besides pick them up and put them down a couple times.
So I tried tapping (rather forcefully) on the left cup, and after 10 taps or so, it suddenly started working, but the other side became barely audible. So I did the same to the other side and eventually it came back on. So now they seem to be working okay, but Iām not sure if theyāre actually at 100%, or how long itāll last.
Is this a known issue that I can fix myself, or should I just RMA them?
That is very odd. A loud 12 watt POP may do that so be real careful with whatever you used to break them in / whatever you left them plugged into overnight, it tried to kill them.
I am kinda shocked they recovered and are working if that is what happened. (ERIS IS ETERNAL) What Serial Number did you get? I assume you ordered from the new batch.
If you donāt notice any other weirdness I think its OK. If you donāt trust the damage was temporary, I would order a new set, get the shipping info and date and then start the return on the 1st one. It might be a while without a set otherwise.

I had them burning in on my old phone (Galaxy S8) at about 70% volume. First 30 hours were with a burn in track (white noise, pink noise, sweeps, with rests in between), the next 10 or so were with music. When Iām using them, theyāre plugged into my Magni 3, which is at about 1:30-2 o clock on low gain.
I feel like that wouldnāt have been the cause though, because I wore/used them all day on Thursday and they were working fine, then they just sat on my desk (apart from handling them a couple times) until the next time I put them on and they were wonky.
The S/N is 2273. I guess if it happens again, Iāll start the replacement process.
No headphone I know of can take the volume abuse of Eris (I say with no ego) So for what you described an āeventā must have happened. Just be cautious leaving them plugged in at night as I pretty much 100% doubt they just got wonky without something major throwing the drivers around. Power surge, Lightning strike, act of God. Something Thurs night / Fri Morning.

i spent here like 2 hours trying to formulate a nice sentance to say how awesome Eris is and i still cant.
so fuck it! Zeos, thank you, Eris is/are awesome, with Crinacle AP6 āstupid monster DACā it sounds insane!. Basically head vibrator and drivers do not give out, even after tracks like Woofer cookerā¦(if youre a bass head you know exactly wtf i mean)
Zeos, you nailed it and iām so happy you made something so crazy and out of this world.
I never saw or heard anything like this. Keep up the awesome work, mad lad!

ābut its not as good as my HIFI headphonesā HiFi my ass, when Eris drops the BASS, your āHIFI qualityā sound gets distorted from the bass waves of the Eris walking past xD

As someone who barely got into the audiophile scene, these are my favorite headphones easily and probably ever. I am a bass head and this is exactly how i would want my headphones to sound. Still having clarity but incredible bass. Sounds good to me with death metal, trance, techno, rock , rap.
