I actually returned the aivas after two days, the cable was messed up but the ear pads were to small for my ears.
Oh, how was the cable messed up?
well. the connection on the adapter was bad
ah makes sense. Yeah that would definitely kill an impression of a headphone. Well at least the Aivas are pretty… can’t deny them that. lol
they are indeed and they sound great but my elex’s sounded better and were more comfy after a week
Just bend the Elex to fit and enjoy!
Not too much though lol
Ha ha, Right! He must have a pretty big head. The Focals fit me like a glove. I can wear them all day long.
Yeah I haven’t had an issue with focals myself tbh. I do think the pads might be a bit stiff once you get them but other than that I don’t have any complaints comfort wise. But that cable is pretty bad for the price you pay, fairly janky and irritating imo
Completely agree with that. It looks nice and works fine but meh. I have a Periapt cable for the Focals I love. One more reason I feel the Clear is over priced. Three cables included that you’ll want to replace immediately.
If it’s anything like the Elex cable then I wholeheartedly agree. I ordered a hart-audio replacement cable today cause the stiffness is starting to annoy me.
thoughts on audio-tech ad2000x?
I like it, it’s a unique signature, great for female vocals and treble, gaming is very good on them too, but lean in the bass, and also comfort is somewhat not that great imo, but it is a specialized headphone
whats bad about the comfort?
It doesn’t conform to your head well for me at least, and puts a lot of pressure on the bottom of your ears. It might work for you though, they are different though
have you tried the r70x’s?
Yes, I like those, they are an improved 600 imo. They are better extended than the 600 with slightly better soundstage. Very good for mastering imo for the price
is the comfort the same?
I think it’s improved as it fits more heads, but it isn’t known for comfort
welp… idk what to do, I might try the r70x though.
