Yeah, the 1990 is great but again the treble could be an issue for you. If you really like bass the x00 purple hearts are impressive lol
Or the hifiman sundara actually digs fairly deep

arenāt those closed backs ?
Semi opens pretty much
maybe a pair of AKGās might be up your alley just measured a pair of k240ās comfortably stretched ot to 32cm but also maxed out there
The K712 could be something to consider actually
Sundara definitely needs some bass boost:
And it has that 5k peak which im fine with on my Superlux cuz they are like 30 bucks but I dont want it on an expensive good headphone
I dont want AKGās they have that 2k peak which gets painful with some music
With a good amp they actually can reach deeper than you think. Not everything needs eq just because a graph says it does
I mean according to normal measurements they are flat in the bass but according to harman they need more bass and I do agree with Harman
Most planars ignore Harman and have a linear flat line bass response
The ndh20 might be for you actually from what you describe you enjoy
Could you tell me the entire name I never heard of those
OH the neumannās zeos reviewed those
try not to rely on graphs so much they often donāt tell the whole story the m50x graphs look fine but are often the subject of much vitriol
Neumann ndh20 is the full name
maybe a pair of audezeās like lcd 2c
Actually the audeze lcd 1 could be up his alley
Ok so we are now talking stuff I wanna buy when I will have money (like lots of money)
was about to bring it up couldnāt remeber it cayse its so new
The LCD 1 is great and actually somewhat affordable. Also really doesnāt need an amp so you save money there. Itās planar, open, has the type of signature you may enjoy, and is also portable and comfortable to me
Hmm looks at graph
I mean honestly I would rather get the LCD2C since they have a big soundstage and the LCD1 need subbass boost while the LCD2C doesnt but the LCD2C needs mids reduced and low treble bumped up in the 4k area oof why canāt there bet headphones that just measure flat gosh darn it
Iām going off of my listening lol, not a graph btw
Ok so, first, in the 150 bucks area there is nothing better than the 58x for me right ?
Cuz it seems like that
