These are of course already good without EQ, the only grievance I have with them on that state is the 13khz peak. I used negative high shelf and got a good enough result, but if one wants to make it more precise a mid Q around that might be better (it is difficult to assess though, as upper brilliance is hard to get right on measurement couplers).
Edit: one may be wary of the 9khz boost. The anandas had a slight ringing around 8-9khz, so perhaps it is better to leave it stock.

I just purchased when they popped up again on Hifigo. Fingers crossed theyāll perform well on my Vali 2+ 
Iāve never turned it up past noon on low gain with the Sundara, 6XX, or LCD-2C.
It should do nicely. These cans respond well to tube hybrid.
I donāt have a Vali 2+, but on my xDuoo MT-602 w/ upgraded tubes they sing beautifully.

Several days ago, the shop provided new track, with new carriers, and guess what? The same message āShipment pending by the sellerā displayed again, for new track. I donāt know what happening in their heads, I donāt even have a words to say:(
Ordered mine on the 9th and the shipping started yesterday from Electricxiamo store. I messaged them Tuesday for a status update and they said it would ship next day, and it did. Since many people in here seem concerned on these shops, Iāll update on itās progress.

Today my parcel started the shipping path, after 14 days from purchase, my order placed on 2nd of December and today i have to congratulate myself with shipping by the seller.

Our Australian authorised reseller(Addicted to Audio) told me theyād be available in January when I mentioned them.
Was pretty suprised and double checked they were the ED XS, which they confirmed.
They said theyāll have them available for around US$500 or $599.
Prices at Addicted to Audio are kinda fucked up, expecting it to be sold for close to 1 grand AUD

I have that OpenHeart cable, itās very nice. I have the 2.5mm for use with a BTR5/Qudelix. Cable on the right is FAAEAL, itās also very nice, only minor issue being that L and R were mislabeled. Iām using it on the XS, the OpenHeart on the Ananda. But the stock cable on the XS is remarkably decent by Hifiman standards.

Will be very interested to see what they price it at. The Ananda seems to be down to $599 in the US now, as a permanent new price, itās what they quote the price as now on their ābrochureā site and itās also that price now on their Amazon store with no mention of it being ādiscountedā from $699 or $999. Iād guess, itās going to be $499, like the Western-oriented Chinese stores have marked it up to. In China, itās priced just under the Ananda, I think about Ā„500 less, itās not a big difference.
Yes I also felt the XS stock cable is better, for Hifimanās otherwise cable repu lol.
