I might need to pickup some ePro’s. One of the more common tips I don’t have. I’ve been exclusively using the stock tips on the UP. I wonder if any of the BGVP tips are ePro knockoffs? I ordered about everyone just haven’t really felt a need to roll with the UP.
I was thinking of how to summarize my experience with Monarch MK2, and one word comes to mind - 'limp". If it has more air that’ll add character to the set
Nope, e-pro doesn’t have a knock off as far as I know.
Bought Seek Real Airship today. Nozzle is too damn short for my blackhole ears. The 2 pin connection is very very loose - they got detached everytime I remove the IEM from my ears. Any idea how to fix that?
In another news, Moondrop S8 has delicious treble that I even considered buying it
do you know if the cable you are using is 0.78mm or 0.75mm?
Tripowin Altea 0.78
shouldnt be a problem then…is there an issue with the stock cable?
Both the stock cable & my Tripowin cable exhibit this issue. I plan to return them tomorrow if I can’t fix it
sounds like its the iem then…
After seeing the graph on the new Salnotes Zero, it looks like a great option to the Chu. The detachable cable and a slightly better graph in the 5-8k range are both appealing.
Could be the design? Cuz I remember having the same problem with Oxygen before
I havent had any problems with the O2. It might just be bad luck with your unit.
I managed to remember both who it was, and the IEM model, which surprised me, but that was after 8 months of owning them.
Your Seek Real Airship came new with the connector loose? If so I would send them back.
just got my Dioko’s… danggg they good
putting them on is weird but once they are these might compete with Legacy 3’s for most comfortable IEM I’ve tried
Because the opportunity came up, and certainly not for the sake of stretching my credit debt further, I will be able to listen to a Penon Volt on Monday I think. Had no plans to buy anything, but it’s been a bit of a unicorn on my list for a long time now.
Godspeed with my listings and sales of non-keepers…
Whoosh idk if I could handle that. From comments on head-fi saying the Serial was the most neutral Penon IEM when it was released idk if I could ever jive with their older offerings
EST treble rarely seems to graph true, a lot of EST offerings look concerningly dark until they’re actually listened to
Tgx78 is a lifelong classically trained musician and classical music fan, and was very content with the Volt’s treble reproduction.
Edit: Mainly I’d like to try them instead of them remaining a “what if”. As usual I only jump on something well priced enough that (time investment aside) should be risk free to let go and sell on.
That’s definitely on my list of ones I want to hear. If your down for it, after some time, maybe we could arrange a temp exchange for demoing purposes. My Moonlight for your Volt. Completely understandable though if you’d rather not.
