Could be the design? Cuz I remember having the same problem with Oxygen before
I havent had any problems with the O2. It might just be bad luck with your unit.

I managed to remember both who it was, and the IEM model, which surprised me, but that was after 8 months of owning them.
Your Seek Real Airship came new with the connector loose? If so I would send them back.

Because the opportunity came up, and certainly not for the sake of stretching my credit debt further, I will be able to listen to a Penon Volt on Monday I think. Had no plans to buy anything, but itās been a bit of a unicorn on my list for a long time now.

Whoosh idk if I could handle that. From comments on head-fi saying the Serial was the most neutral Penon IEM when it was released idk if I could ever jive with their older offerings
EST treble rarely seems to graph true, a lot of EST offerings look concerningly dark until theyāre actually listened to
Tgx78 is a lifelong classically trained musician and classical music fan, and was very content with the Voltās treble reproduction.
Edit: Mainly Iād like to try them instead of them remaining a āwhat ifā. As usual I only jump on something well priced enough that (time investment aside) should be risk free to let go and sell on.

Anything that could help us potentially avoid a purchase we may not like. Unless of course it ends up the other way, haha. Seeing weāve done exchanges before and you helped me out I feel itās a good opportunity and gesture for us both.

I have no issue with the cable disconnecting easily from the Airship, I would see if you can change them.
Hey, Iām wondering what are the strong contenders at the sub $350 price point. The Blessing 2 were 2 years ago, so since then have any IEMās been rivaling the performance. Right now on my radar is the S12, Timeless, Canon, and Tea 2.

In my opinion there is no 100 per cent. We listen to our iems or whatever device they are not perfect. In time we will hear something that clearly better at our current iems weakness. We fall in love with it. Then the cycle starts anew. We can find better iems in time but really there is no end game. The end game is when we quit looking for better. There are people who be satisfied with a modded Olina. Others a 12 t or whatever. The truth is there will always be something you like better than what you have if your actively looking to improve your experience. The person whose end game is the Olina is no more right or wrong than the person who buys a Monarch 2 if they both hop of the Ferris wheel. It is sad I know this and still willing to go down the rabbit hole.

Canon and Teas for sure but also check theese ones out supposedly sound like the EJ07 but at 1/2 the price. I trust Akros reviews.
I would personally stay away from planar IEM at this time the Hook x may by but still dealing with any real depth for soundstage.

Those are all very solid choices. I own the Timeless and S12. The Blessing 2 is still a great neutral pick, but I would probably go with the Tea 2 from that list today. The original Tea has a more interesting tuning for me, and is one of my favorites. I havenāt heard the Canon, but people rave about it.

If theyāre serious about their 30 day no worries trial window, Iām certainly interested in hearing them.
If EJ07 mid bass is like EJ07M mid bass and these are similar, I might not love that fully - but the word āwarmā keeps cropping up, soā¦
One of their three reviews on their site is from Mochill who I have no love for either as reviewer or buyer, he even ends his review with a referral link to benefit himself 
I forgot who mentioned trying the spinfit CP100+ with adapters on Etymotics (@nymz or possibly @Marzipan ?) but thanks! Saved my ER2SE from a life in the drawer! PS Excellent timbre!

Turns out the EJ07M Kinda Lava production version is closer to the OG with just a slight added 2db mid bass boost the M was the sub bass boosted one.
Which one did you get?
