I didn’t say they were bass light. I also said they sounded great. I just have other IEMs that sound as good as, if not better that slam harder because of their DD that the Andromeda. I’m addicted to the bass dynamics a DD delivers. The Andromeda is just not thing especially for its price tag. If it were priced more in line with my FH7, I would have bought it.

i’m thinking of maybe just getting some blons and upgrading to higher end 50-100 dollar IEMS in the future because it seems like the blon B-03 do a lot of good things (warm bassy sound but still has trebel and has a good price and comfy sound that is still energetic), but i hear about all the issues with the cables and the tips and the comfort and bleh
also did urbanfun ever fix the MMCX issue?
No idea, I wouldnt give them any more money after all the lies they said (claimed they fixed it for months, still gets reported it has problems…)
Just get the Fiio FH3, it does everything the Urbanfun does but better.

Is anyone here interested in the Audiosense AQ7? We got a few blind-buyers on head-fi lol.
Since there is a pretty good early bird price (from 500 to 300 usd!).
It is too big for my ears though so not interested, but that is a very good price (assuming it is that good).

Yeah it is 300 usd. Not sure if it has already expired though.
It’s only $100 off, so $400. Still too steep for me to buy blindly. $350 would’ve okay.

Yes, it was supposed to be 200 usd off…Others on head-fi got it. It is expiring soon or already though.
A friend was asking for IEM recommendations at around $100. I already showed him my Starfield’s and T4. What else is worth looking at?

He likes EDM and alt rock. He really likes the Starfield’s and I will probably sell mine to him. But he’s looking for suggestions for his girlfriend who’s into pop and 80’s rock. For the source, it will often be a phone/apple dongle
Sounds like the FH3 will suit him then and his gf too lol.
The FH3 is a really versatile iem so it will suit most people actually.

Oh well lol. Customer rep on AE refusing to gimme the -$200 code. I even screenshotted both here and headfi audiosense thread and showed him lol
It might have been expired though. But that is a shame, in my experience with them they always have great customer service and is actually one of the best in chi-fi at that.
What music styles do you guys think the Starfield would sound excellent with? It has quite elevated bass, but it’s not that detailed or fast.
That $400/$300 is now going towards the Z1r fund

Probably a jack of all trades master of none, type of iem. But then again, just speculating based on the KXXS and the graph on the Starfield.
