I consider each parameter to be a band, idk why that term would only apply to GEQ. My understanding of GEQ is it’s just the same EQ as PEQ except the filter type, Q value and frequency are hardcoded.
I’m waiting for the Android app to drop so I’ll let you know when it does. They specifically say 20 band parametric EQ so I would be surprised if it was the GEQ option

Also the rms is incorrect when you use the SPL settings

What do you mean by incorrect RMS?
The numbers aren’t correct. I’m on balanced but if I max it out it only says it’s 500mV however sound wise it’s definitely more

Guys today, feels good today for myself and for my little brothers. I have decided to giveaway my 2 IEMs that I used to listen with all the time back then when I was really new to the IEM game. I have to say farewell to my Tin Hifi T2 and BLON BL-03, for those have done me a great job but the use of them are no longer required from me, therefore my 2 little brothers will get each IEM for themselves.

That’s very awesome of you. Best to start them young. Hopefully they don’t get lost in the rabbit hole with us when they’re older. If they do though we’ll be here to guide them spending their money.

A question. I am quite curious and inquisitive. I see reviews of the Top and I wonder.
How is it possible that with 2 more balanced armours compared to the Tea mk2 it is “much” better for some reviewers? Or to put it another way… How is it possible for a hybrid to compete against the big sub 1000€ tri-hybrids (Ej07m, Variations, Ej07m Kinda, Mahina, Oracle 2, …)?
EST is not necessarily better than BA in principle nor necessarily needed for a set to sound good.
Also - more drivers =/= better IEM from neither tuning nor technicalities (otherwise KZs would rule the world 
). Not as a rule. Take a look at ranking lists of many respected reviewers, there are a lot multi armature sets having 4, 5, 6 BAs and that’s it. There are many single DDs summit fi (Softears). There are 1DD + 2BA like Tia Trio.
And tribrids are in fact quite a new trend in the hobby.

So I’ve been working on my SA6 Ultra video for the past week (with actual editing this time), and although I couldn’t get it out before Christmas due to work… I did manage to finish it tonight Let me know what your thoughts are - curious to what others’ experiences are with the Ultra!

Well done and late Merry Christmas to you as well. I saw the poster from my Dark Knights post made an appearance. The Ultra definitely gets a lot of use from me. Between the Meteor and it they have dethroned some of my past choices. Definitely the two best sets for my taste that dropped in 2022 from what I’ve heard. If you actually count the Ultra seeing it was a colab of one not released in 2022. Keep it up the videos would love to see what else gets reviewed.

It has been many days, and yes I am still using my Cadenzas. A really surprising IEM for the year, for it has exceeded my expectations, and this is coming from a guy who is not expecting much on things anymore. Probably one of the factors why I gave my BL-03s and T2s away, for the Cadenzas are much better than those two nowadays.

I agree surprising how good they are , I always questioned why anyone would buy a cheap IEM when you have better but they are really a joy to listen to.

I’ve been to a bunch of “real restaurants” lately and most were a let down and a rip off. I haven’t gone too deep down the audio rabbit hole but we all know the rule of diminishing returns.
