I don’t have any nozzle filters but I gotta imagine adding filters will dampen the treble which is the opposite of what I would want (for my ideal IEM). Now I could probably pull out whatever filters they have and go with less dense ones but I would only do that if I had a measuring rig to check changes

Hey guys,
Just wanted to issue a quick apology for steering the pot yesterday, and especially my rude behavior to @darkgod5 - it will never happen again. Reflecting back on the whole ordeal, I definitely should’ve been more clear with my intentions of the citations. As @Kenyon has pointed out, they don’t directly correlate to the topic, but more so in-directly with FR, HRTF, distortion, and other stuff that affects sound perception and technicalities. I think the argument occurred because I didn’t clarify what I meant (since I knew it in my head) and thus lead to a misunderstanding. So, I’d like to thank @Kenyon for bringing me back to my senses, and a sorry to @darkgod5 for having to go through that!
With that said, let’s continue keeping each other accountable in the future so we don’t end up like Head-fi

Im guessing its the Y4 at least of the paper filter kind.
So less dampening filters would be the 200-350 mesh filters I believe.

Tony/Akros said he has an SR05 ordered. The only graph that I know of is the one from twitter who said it was an IEC711

The scaling on these graphs suck too. I’m not trusting what I see here that much at all.
QC looks weird too, one has a rise all the way to 3k, the other has a dip at 2k.

I doubt its that. Take a look at the Y axis. you have around 7db pinna but like -10db at upper-treble compared to mids.

But seriously, you’re right about the gain relative to the 10k peak … damn. Well, I’m not too sensitive to treble luckily, it’s more so the gain region so I’m still hopeful.

It must hit his ears just right. Like how I’m clearly less sensitive to 8k than a lot of everybody. a giant 8k peak is actually pretty pleasant for my ear but lots of people are like “away foul demon”, so who even knows?
