Where do they mention it is re-tunned?
Would you and @MMag05 say that maybe cal is looking at it more in a objective sense while Mags is looking at it more in a subjective stance? Reading through both of your write ups (which are fantastic btw, boys 
) I get the sense that Mags is embracing the analog tuning I think 7hz was going for, while Cal is looking at it more in a correct/incorrect stance.
Not a complaint! Just an observation and Iām always curious what you guys come up with

I wouldnāt disagree with this looking back at our thoughts and write up. My problem is going to be I donāt want to look at objective and I canāt. One itāll probably make me find its weak points and two I canāt Iām having so much fun listening to them.

That makes perfect sense, dude. For my personal enjoyment, objective truths take a back seat for sure. If they didnāt, the Maestro Minis wouldnāt have sunken into my life so deeply. So deep in fact, that they tend to be my main squeeze when it comes to listening.
Itās all about enjoyment and subjectivity is the name of the game in this hobby, thatās what I always say.

Thatās a fair assessment. I definitely tried to be as objective as I could be awhile also taking into account the goal of the IEM and my preferences, so I guess itās still pretty subjective lol. I really really really enjoy this IEM though and it will stick with me for a long time

Parcels - everyroad (the last 2 minutes of the song is sub bass heaven, just have to be patient lol) itās also a good song to test stage and imaging as well, whole bunch of different voices coming from above, behind, side to side, all over the place.

ā¦and for what itās worth, I agree with him about IEMs (and to an extent, earbuds and headphones, too); they can not match a real life performance or properly set up speaker system. They can only approximate to varying degrees of success. A big part of why Iām into IEMs and buds so much is that I canāt feasibly bring my speakers and subs on the road with me, and headphones by and large fill a space that matches neither of my use cases (I have a couple of pairs, but rarely use them for that reason).
Iām going to be very curious to see how his eventual write-up on the Storm goes; I think heāll put it among the top performers but may gather the ire of any fanboys out there. I look forward to it!
