When they want to be serious they can drop a killer: Aurora is such an under-the-radar set.
That looks sexy AF. I’m definitely feeling some things.

True. I still have a pair of CCA C10s around. They were given to me as a present by my neice and I was legit surprised by how good and relatively even handed the tuning was. Pretty darn good for $40.
Yeah, if this is priced well and sounds great then damnnnnnnnnn.
Xuanwu is an absurd shell for a $20 IEM. If I didn’t have 6 $20-40 sets already I’d have kept it for the shell alone.
Maybe they’re done teasing things out and they’re going for it
hmm
metal body and resin (?) faceplate? Like Blessing 2? I guess at that price it IS damn good.
The gun-metal one is primo. I don’t even like the silver one THAT much.
KBEar/TRI know how to make a good lookin’ pair of IEMs regardless of price point.
Except for Storm…that thing is trash
I said they know how to, not that they always do…
They need to be shamed forever for that one. I don’t care, I will never not say that shell was leftover resin they were like “lets just throw it together”.
Truly befitting a forgettable $14 set
Starsea is gorgeous and the cheapest QDC-style tuning I know of. If you’re not put off by pressure build-up, it was a winner too
I actually quite like the sound/tuning of the Meteors. Laid back and musical while capable of rendering space and layers better than most IEMs in it’s price range, IMO/IME.
I was talking about the Fan 2 when I was talking about redundancy.
Agreed with everything @JAnonymous5150 just said. I find them a solid price bracket pick for that tuning type but only when they are on sale. At their MSRP of €100+ it’s a bit harder to recommend but they are often discounted down to the €60-€70 range. They share A LOT of similarities to the TRI HBB Kai but for me personally they just incrementally outperform it.
Even a broken clock is right once a day.
For context on the “do you hate your friends?” - i have the worst iem collection of them all, so you get the point lol
Reminder folks to change your filters. Both the same IEM taking before and after taking them off and cleaning them with some rubbing alcohol.
Before:
After:
I’ll spare the photo of the filter.
That’s crazy how much difference it makes!
I kinda want to see the filters before and after…for science…
